... we had rolled the dice and failed or bought success like pompey did with huge stars and won the cup. We find ourselves in similar dire circumstances but have had nothing to shout about and only abject failure for year upon year. We may have a small set of loyal fans but we must deserve better than being treated like this. :-(

We did roll the dice and fail - Richardson taking a 'punt' when we were in the PL is one of the route causes of this mess.

That's not what happened with the supposed 45m that sisu tell us they've invested and they obtained the club for pretty much fk all and have sold any player with a value since.

I have little business acumen so very much a lay view.. but as I see it.

Richardson took a punt when we were in the Premier League on players and wages; and for a while we thrived(The Entertainers) but constraints around expanding Highfield road meant an ambitious and high risk plan to move to the Ricoh was hatched.
The Ricoh move business plan as I understand was reliant on circa 22000+ crowds(to break even) and Premier League football.. but the plan had no contingency and with the only revenue stream being through dwindling ticket sales as our football fortunes waned the die was cast and it now sadly feels like a race to the bottom?

Edit: I'm no SISU fan-boy... and I doubt the quoted £45m would stand scrutiny assuming anyone ever gets to see the books!!.

I hope your not suggesting they didn't actually invest 45m?! Do not question SISU. It means you are disloyal and don't love your club.
