Wilson is back next week so prob the last time you see collins also one def signing lined up for jan but one has to leave as well, maybe Tavares, working on 2 others, get the impression we won’t waste money in January to panic buy to finish mid table, ecpectations Are mid table / top half,-and add/ sell in the summer,
Seems Fabio to be the obvious one as he’s been on the bench throughout Lampard’s start outside of today.

Lines up with Saddles 1 for 1 being done already. Any ideas on the positions we are looking at?

Spoke to lampard after the game and a Genuinely top bloke, you can’t not like him, genuinely he’s not just here to add to his CV , he loves the club alteady, wants to give us a team to be proud off and entertains us,
How do you keep talking to our managers and can you sneak me in next time 🤣

Don't agree about Saka.
Great goal today but he's been poor all season and was atrocious Saturday.

EMC has been a revelation since Lampard came in.
Saka not involved enough, I don't think he's the type of player to get you into the top 6, we need strength which EMC offers

Shall I expose your posting history over Lampard?

I just said I was very anti Lampard as a manager. I thought he was a fraud of a manager in some of his previous roles.

So you're not exposing anything I'm not willing to admit. And I'm not the only one here who held that opinion.

'shall I expose you' - like you're uncovering the answer to an unsolved crime. Fucking weirdo

Long before he came to us I said he'd never make it as a manager, now he's here I'm hoping to be proven wrong.

But the same goes for him and Robins and everyone else that's managed us, dont care what they did before, don't care what they do after, really only bothered what they do here.

Exactly.

I really don't know what my opinion of Lampard several years ago has to do with my opinion of him as CCFC manager. I hope he's fucking brilliant for us.

Some of us could see the potential and were laughed at. Shmee told me I was a eafc fan because I dared to say lampard might change us tactically.

But I'm talking about posts like Grendels, where if I say something positive about Lampard he's like 'BuT lOoK aT wHaT yOu SaId AbOuT hIm 2 yEaRs AgO wHeN hE wAs NoThInG tO dO wItH oUr ClUb I aM sO sUpErIoR'

It's utterly irrelevant, pointless and tiresome.

Not everyone does let's be honest. Some posters were so happy last week when we lost. Talk of lampard taking us backwards etc

Some aren’t happy with yesterday either

Definitely a bit OTT.

The truth is there’s little evidence robins would ever get us near the top 6 again

His record with us in this league when measured against managers managing in this league or top flight barely puts him in the top 10

But the difference is those managers joined an established championship or top flight club, whereas Robins brought us here all the way from League Two.

You seem to have an issue with me not rating a manager several years ago that had absolutely nothing to do with our club. I think it's far stranger to have such an issue with the manager of this club for the last 7 years.

The issue is that it’s irrelevant in league one and two what he does in this league going forward.

Managers who get their club promoted to the premier league often then get sacked

I don't think lampard could get us from league 2 to the championship like robins did

But perhaps lampard can get us to the prem from the championship.

I'm not saying robins couldn't do it. But maybe lampards more attacking flair is what we need.

Either way remember robins fondly and hopefully we will all do the same for lampard when his time here is over

His attacking flair won't count for anything if he doesn't sort us out defensively.
Hopefully yesterday's clean sheet was the start of remedying that.

He's got 2 so far. I'm sure he will be working on it in training.
I'd say there's probably only so much he can do with that defence too. Needs a transfer window more than any other part of the team. Although i think the fact that our only competent keeper out of 3 is back in the team will help slightly.
