Institutionally speaking, it’s a Christian country. The head of state has to be an Anglican and the heads of the Church of England automatically get a seat in the House of Lords etc. But in cultural terms, church attendance plummeted after lockdown and has never really recovered.Based on the amount of people who go to church every week
