Wasn't it just supposed to be about destroying certain targets? Now they're talking about wiping out Tehran.

It does and it is a fact but the regime, which in my view is abhorrent and dangerous, has been in power for 45+ years. The current mess; economically, politically and socially is of their own making.

Without wishing to quote Anakin, from my point of view the Israeli regime is abhorrent and dangerous.

OK, Rommel. Name the conflicts you've served in - Let's match them up.
Or are you talking purely of reading?

How many countries is that now just counting this year? And looks like Starmer is sending 'assets' to the Middle East ready to assist.

Do other world leaders not realise how stupid they look when they keep saying Israel have the right to self defence when they launch pre-emptive strikes, by definition not self defence, using claims that at best can't be substantiated and at worst are easily discredited?

Claims have been made an RN destroyer was helping guide Israeli missiles on Theran. Fuck knows what's really going on, I can only imagine both sides are constantly lying.

Meanwhile Gaza has had an internet blackout so who knows what is going on there.

Nothing screams of dictatorship more than trying to remove the regime of a country that doesn’t belong to you.

The Israeli government have clearly decided for some reason that they have the right to act like some kind of World Police for their own nefarious gains.

Innocent people getting killed in the middle.

Someone needs to explain to me how Israel can supposedly target a military leader or nuclear scientists in Iran with absolute precision, yet the only way to eradicate Hamas is to level Gaza to the ground, and shoot civilians desperate for aid.

Netanyahu, his government and every sycophant that cheers him on is an utter scumbag.

The Israeli military infrastructure in Tel Aviv is in with civilian buildings also. A tactic they like to accuse Hamas of.

Agreed. Israel has gone way, way, way, beyond anything that could be considered a 'justifiable' response. Allegations of war crimes carry some serious credence.
Just when you thought the bully didn't have the stamina to pick another fight - maybe some good may come from the atrocity?

In fairness, there is a distinct difference between the two situations. Hamas operates in densely populated civilian areas in Gaza making precise targeting more difficult and increases the risk of civilian causalities. Whereas Iran's military leaders and facilities are more isolated making precise targeting easier. I am not suggesting Israel is being more or less precise in Iran than in Gaza, it's just hard to compare two very different military environments.

There is the difficulty in taking out military targets in a concentrated area, then there is the killing of people queuing up for food and aid.

TRT GLOBAL - A Turkish broadcasting network.
Turkey - A country with a gnats knacker just under 100% Muslim population.
This is hardly BBC verify, is it, BSB?
