Wasn't he the master of a transfer? What the fuck does he do?

What do any of them do really? Mowbray's about the only person whose job is (was) actually apparent, we seem to go through a rash of names and job titles like nobody's business otherwise.

Member of the board, director of football, Head coach it seems... Our clubs equivalent of a one man band!

When he first arrived his change in role worked.

He then moved onto the board in similar fashion as Waggott did. Tried doing multiple jobs (effectively trying to cut costs but double workload).

Possible coincidence that our downturn has coincided, in the main, with him going to sit on the board

Wasn't Venus also involved in recruitment and getting the best out of the budget?

Sadly there are a few good people at the club that are doing multiple jobs when they were only taken on to do one. Our down turn started about 8 months before he joined the board.

During an exclusive interview with Coventry Telegraph reporter Andy Turner this summer, Venus said he has found his niche in football - and it isn't in the dugout.

Venus’s main remit is to head up the recruitment department and find quality players that fit the budget and the manager’s requirements for more than one season.

Has he not drastically failed as it was his remit to find the players, yet everyone is saying it was TM ?

Yep. He is definitely at fault too and if he won't accept that you have to ask yourself, just what planet is he on?

I agree it started long before he came in but if we compare his performance and influence, as we believe it was (he was the money / figures man and would go after targets identified), from last season to this, when it seems he's primarily been a board member rather than the money / figures man, it could have a baring on why we've brought in what we have.

Things from top to bottom have certainly been polar opposites from last season to this
