It was a staged administration - the club invested more money in the sixfields season than it did in several seasons before

Exactly, took us into admin and took us down to sixfields all in his/sisu’s attempts to get the ground for next to nothing, the fans and club were just collateral damage at the time. Only good thing he did was appoint Robins. Without that we’d be having a thread about worst not best

Not when chairman though. Appointed 2014, so we can thank him for coming back from Sixfields...

In the later years of SISU, I spoke to him plenty of times on the train home from matches. He was often very drunk and struggling.

There were times you'd listen to him and agree with what he said. I think those above him were clearly a bigger issue than he was.

He'd clearly learnt a lot from his early days but it was far too late.

There was a thread on here, purported to be from Hoffman, that reached out to Fisher, who had apparently called Seppala bonkers, and had seen his attempts to smooth things over dashed from above.

Tim

Rather than saying things publicly and privately about me that are not true, why don't we meet face to face and discuss matters.

It wasn't long ago you were encouraging me to find investors and meeting regularly because you said "Joy is bonkers". You thought I was mad to try though. Maybe you were right on that!

For the record, I have never taken a penny from the football club, never intend to and have never put forward a proposal that would make me money. Rather I have invested time, money and plenty of family emotion in trying to do the right thing for the club. You have tried to sully my name but that is irrelevant in the context of where CCFC finds itself.

Also the KCIC offer is not my initiative. I have only spoken to Michael Orton once at his request. Like many others I have said I will help. Who wouldn't? All Coventry fans want Coventry back home. And if there is no cost to SISU and no financial risk for SISU - only upside - then why wouldn't you talk to them?

That said the best way forward is for the principals - SISU and ACL - to sit down and do a short term deal on costs and revenues. Then neither KCIC, me nor anyone else will be needed. We will just watch football in our home town.

I realise this week must have been difficult for you to come to terms with. You have been so wrong and been guided badly. But we all need to put the past and personal feelings to oneside and do the right thing on occasions. Your interview this morning gave mixed messages on that.

Would you like to meet?

You could say Bryan Richardson is our greatest ever chairman, he had the vision to move to a bigger stadium with more commercial revenue but unfortunately got ousted by the buffoon Mcginnitty and then the sale to Sisu. Hopefully now with proper owners both the club and stadium working together we will see the fruits of the seeds planted by Richardson. Highfield Rd with all its nostalgia would not create the money required to be a successful football club. The CBS is a truly great asset to the City of Coventry and Warwickshire.

It’s cute that your first post in the week we are on the cusp of the premier league is about Grendel. Get a life.

You immediately attacked a poster on here, not exactly a great way to introduce yourself.
