The way the consortium behaves is rather amateurish, e.g. "The terms of the transaction will remain confidential, but it was more than £7m".....why would you even offer that amount of cash for something with limited net worth?

It doesn't really matter though, does it? The 'campaign' if one exists will do nothing to encourage SISU to sell to Hoffman, the only reason they will sell is if it is to their benefit.

Of course.

The point was more about how obvious it was.

"CCFC don't have to move or anything, just sell it to Hoffman who has a deal lined up"

It will be to get people talking as to why it should be accepted and to get people singing Hoffman's name at matches again. It is like when they said it was about £20m last time but it was all based on promotions, future transfers etc.

Joe Elliott in on the action as well!

Isn't this what people were angry about happening to ACL? Bit of distressing?

They told Sisu they could keep the Wilson money . How exactly do they plan on funding the club? When they’re giving away future income.

Why don't they keep their mouths shut until something is sorted.

Irrespective of what Hoffman has or hasn’t offered it would be nice to know what it would take for SISU to sell up.

So predictable yet there were those who claimed yet again that it was tinfoil hat territory.

So we've got Hoffman and Elliott, recently seen at the Ricoh with Ranson, putting in a bid to 'save' the club. Sure I've seen that before somewhere.

In my opinion, and not really based on anything other than a gut feeling, you'd have to at least double the £7m offer not to mention have it all being paid up front to get Sepalla's attention.

Then you have the Trust meeting with Hoffman who won't say a thing about Wasps refusing to discuss rent.

Surely they wouldn't be trying to help "distress" CCFC?

Given that Hoffman and Elliott were thick as thieves with Ranson and he was seen at the Ricoh recently would you bet against the funding coming in the form of one of Ranson's Wonga style loans.

Add that into the mix with promising future income to SISU and accepting any offer Wasps will give we'd probably be posting about the good old days of SISU in a few years time.

Not to mention wasn't Elliott wanting to close the academy as it cost too much?

if they were serious they wouldn't snitch and moan to general public

listened to a podcast last year with a super agent and he mentioned he has put 2 consortium in touch with sisu over buying ccfc and both times offers were rejected. but he said these bidders left it at that and moved on to other clubs. thats serious business people.

if hoffman wants cov.stay quiet. put a new bid in

Problem I have with this, is we’re on a serious play off charge, and all this is going to do is work the fans up.

Can’t be dealing with our moron fans putting the players off or invading the pitch or throwing shit on their

As long as they leave it outside the SISU/EFL/Wasps/Council HQs I’m ok with it. If what happened against Bolton and Sheff Utd happens again I’ll hold our fans responsible

Exactly, how blatant does it need to be. We've even had Nick Eastwood saying the fans should be more upset and protest more.

It's been obvious for so long. Trust, Council and London Wasps all complicit.

As many of us have said all along, if it works then great. If not we end up with CCFC out of the city again or worse out of the football league, or even worse out of existence. This time not to do with just sisu but the incompetence and unprofessionalism of people who are supposed to care.

Why shouldn't they come out and say Sisu won't talk and they have put a bid in.What do Sisu want for a training ground and a couple of players contracts. They keep saying they will wind us up if ground is not sorted. The same stadium they had numerous chances of owning at least half of.

I have heard, and keep it to yourself, that Hoffman and his team had not planned a bid until they saw your conspiracy theory on here, and thought, well, we might as well do something then...

The ending is the rich Arab who wants to put 500m in, build a new stadium and win us the champions League.

All of it is noise, nothing more.

Supporting this club is like watching eastenders. There might the the occasionally few mins of happpiness, but you know on the whole it’s built on despair, sadness and bad news stories

How is anyone distressing CCFC?

It’s well within CCFCs power to be masters of their own destiny by dropping the court case. They don’t want to and (I assume) have a Plan B to maintain the club while they continue legals with a groundshare.

Are you just using the word so you can make posts like this or do you have any clue how CCFC is being distressed here? ACL can’t control being sued, CCFC can control having a ground. Apples != oranges.

Its pretty obvious how it's being distressed isn't it? Just stick to saying conspiracy over and over again, it suits you more.

They can't help themselves. Get so overexciting at the thought of getting SISU out and taking over they blurt things out. Sure this will be the same as when Johnson dropped out at that meeting that a new club could play at the Ricoh - everyone involved will pretend it never happened.

Have seen people starting up the "Sell the club so we can stay at the Ricoh" line.

Looks like it is backfiring

Did you see Gary Newbon's column in the telegraph on Tuesday?

He said "I understand there is a newish member of the Hoffman show who is a very wealthy rugby club owner"

Did we already know this, or at least guessed it?
