Lets look at facts, SISU are skint, no money. Sacking Thorn will cost them a years wages atleast my guess is about £200k. So why sack him and then appoint Shaw or Carsley ? Could have moved AT to the side and just carried on paying him weekly, even stop his rolling contract and let it run down. What if any new owners wanted Thorn out as he is a SISU employee, a SISU appointment so SISU's responsibility. Could SISU be on their way at last, something has to give sooner or later. Refusing to pay rent and refusing to do a halve the rent deal doesn't appear to me to be owners with long term plans.

You haven't got a clue what's in thorns contract do you?

It could be a months termination clause. There could a zero severance pay up to a specified time in the contract say the first 12 weeks of it.

I would be surprised if he gets much at all. Sounds almost like he was on probation and he failed the test.

No it does not mean that at all. The term rolling is irrelevant and both parties normally agree a renewal and the severance terms are whatever parties decide to agree to.

It is a term that refers to renewing a contract after it ends. Most are of a nature where both parties agree a renewal and if one doesn't it ends. It is also common for such contracts to effectively be renewed monthly. I would be staggered if the termination by either side is anything like a year. It workf both ways remember. If thorn was a success and was offered a job elsewhere the club would not be entitled to compensation he could go in a month.

I really hope so but sounds like wishful thinking.

Pretty sure it was a 12 month rolling contract that they announced last year.
