My guess Sisu thought their withholding of rent would force acl to the brink enabling ccfc and Robbins more funds for wages and transfers. Council out foxed them by removing that threat by underwriting the mortgage. Thus sisu couldn't afford mcgoldrick and although managed to secure the other big 3 couldn't afford anymore quality signings. Also wonder if they were banking on cup final money to help secure some of the linked loan signings.
Guess joy spelt out that the budget for next season would again be reduced as withholding the rent was no longer an option and ccfc were going to have to accept the acl offer. Robbins had a strop on and walked.
Just speculating, Robbins came across as an honest bloke and can't be just coincidence that less than a week after meeting joy he's walked.
