It's ok, sometimes it is ok for people to catch up with me a few months after

I think he has got worse since sold though, but he wasnt that good before.

I genuinely think he is exactly the same player as he was before but like every single other player, is suffering with the overall poor form of the team.

Players like Ricketts have genuinely and visibly got worse in recent months. Maddison (like Armstrong) seems to be an affect/casuality, rather than a cause.

His dives have got worse and he doesn't lay it off like he did at the start of the season. He managed to get a lot more passes completed towards the start of the season.

Is that the plan for him? I always got the impression he'd be playing in the Championship next season anyway.

Nope.

Shows we should maybe, pretty much dismiss everything ever said on this forum about anything.

He’s done really well. He always has potential but he was raw and I didn’t see or predict he’d do this well. Fair play to him.

Nope, I didn't think he would do this well either. Not in a top Premier League team and in the England squad anyway.

I'm sorry but what exactly does he bring to the game apart from acting like a penguin? All he does is try to dive around and look for penalties.

I think we've done well to get money for him.

LOL

It was quite clear that he was going to make it right to the top. I admit I never thought Wilson would make it in the Premier League but it was so obvious that Maddison was just an unbelievable talent.

One of the reasons I 'tend' to stay clear of discussions on things like tactics. Because literally no one on this thread has a clue about football!

I’m still happy with that. He was obviously disinterested towards the end of his loan. Should have let him complete his move to Norwich and moved on.

I never thought Wilson would make it the looked very limited when I saw him come on as a sub early on. Maddison has obvious talent but was very young when here and the loan return was a terrible time as he had little interest. Still a diver though

Me to on the Kelly one said that a side with Kelly in is more likely to be relegated than promoted.

But I still think he can be a bit of a handbrake slowing the play down and still doesn’t pass forward often enough, and who would pass it back to those centre backs

Will move for at least ten times that amount next time, the lack of patience and desperation to raise funds has hit the club again wasn’t he sold by that author that somehow sneaked his way into the club.

I do wonder if he'll hide away from this thread, or he'll make up some weird excuse as to why he was right, or could this be the *first* time Grendel admits he was wrong. I wait with bated breath...

I save him the hassle.

"I wrote that in 2016 when he wasn't a £9m player"

If he gets a bit more desperate
"He is only worth more because transfer fees have become ridiculously inflated since Neymar and without that inflation he'd still be worth less than £9m. Kids without a first team game are being touted around for £50-60m"

Or in total desperation
"I said he was only worth £9m to the fantasists on here because the fantasists couldn't see his ability like I could. I actually meant he was worth way more but you all missed the subtle nuance of my message"

Happy to help G :emoji_thumbsup:
