Found it rather dull at times and the characters a lot less likeable than the Walking Dead ones.

Keep trying to get into it, but find it a struggle and certain characters just annoy me a bit too much and therefore I then can't buy into them.

I see it's on again from the beginning isn't it.

In a word, yes. I was very anti this programme, and decided after Season 1 that it was dire. However Season 2 onwards it does get a lot better. Season 3/4 also introduces new characters and some of the episodes have been up with the best episodes of TWD.
