According to Copilot.

Ipswich vs Coventry is expected to be a tight, high‑energy Championship clash, with most predictions leaning towards a narrow Ipswich win (2‑1), though Coventry’s superb form makes them dangerous.

Ipswich Town
• Recent Form: Mixed results – 2 wins, 2 draws, 1 loss in their last five.
• Lost 1-2 to Oxford United (A)
• Beat Hull City 2-0 (A)
• Drew 0-0 with Wrexham (H)
• Won 4-1 vs Swansea (A)
• Drew 1-1 with Watford (H)
• Strengths:
• Strong home resilience, rarely losing at Portman Road.
• Creativity from Jaden Philogene and attacking threat from George Hirst.
• Weaknesses:
• Confidence slightly dented after the Oxford defeat.
• Vulnerable against in‑form attacking sides.

Coventry City
• Recent Form: Outstanding – five consecutive wins, including against Middlesbrough, West Brom, Stoke, Sheffield United, and Charlton.
• League Position: Top of the Championship with 43 points from 18 games.
• Strengths:
• High confidence and momentum under Frank Lampard, who has revitalized the squad.
• Dangerous attacking trio: Mason-Clark, Eccles, and Simms.
• Weaknesses:
• Away games can be tricky, though they’ve won 6 of 9 on the road, scoring 25 goals.

Key Battles
• Midfield Control: Ipswich’s creativity vs Coventry’s energy and pressing.
• Ipswich Attack vs Coventry Defence: Hirst and Philogene trying to break down a confident back line.
• Coventry Attack vs Ipswich Defence: Simms and Mason-Clark looking to exploit gaps.

Predictions
• Coral Preview: Ipswich 2-1 Coventry
• BetOnValue: Coventry’s form makes them favorites, but Ipswich’s home advantage could balance it
• Consensus: Expect goals on both sides, with Ipswich slightly favored at home, but Coventry’s winning streak means this could swing either way.

In short: Ipswich’s home strength vs Coventry’s winning momentum makes this one of the Championship’s standout fixtures. Expect 2–3 goals, with Ipswich tipped for a narrow win, but Coventry fully capable of extending their streak.

Would you like me to break down the betting odds and likely scorers (e.g., George Hirst vs Ellis Simms) to see where the smart money is going?

Unfortunately, that's my prediction. A 2-1 defeat.

I feel we could be missing some key players.

If I knew Wright, Saka and Rudoni were all good to go, I might be a little more optimistic.

Just very nervous about this one.

Got to be honest I enjoy us not giving any team info away and team news being a bit of a surprise. Feels like the old pre internet days.

He could be smarter still though and have players who have recently left the club in the press conference too, just to confuse the opposition.

On Friday I think he should do the pre match conference with Wright, BTA and Dovin, plus Gus Hamer.

Not Hamer, I don't think Coventrys drains are equipped to deal with the tsunami of jizz that would be created by some of the posters on here

Not withstanding the fact that they thumped us in the Cup last year, I think they were a tad fortunate to go straight through to the Prem. A number of players now have the appellation "played in the Prem" when in fact they were just flying on the coat tails of other, better players in the team. I put Woolfie in that box as neither manager thinks he is anything more than a squad player.

So although they are a relegated club with parachute payments their team appears to be top 6 rather than top 2. I assumed a cagey Stoke type of game, but think now it could be more like Boro - high scoring.

Key is our defence. 5 games in November, we went behind in all three home games. At Boro we unforgivably let them back into it. Only one clean sheet.

Mind you against Boro, had I been in charge no way would both Kitching and Thomas have been in their box with 10 minutes to go. I would have packed the back and played for a draw......

2-2 I reckon.

I didn't say it was a reason, but the jizz comment clearly isn't a new low when you've got threads like that, or maybe you think it is?

Did you ever stop to think he may have been caught in a tsunami of jizz in the past and now has PTSD?

Did you?!

In that scenario would the SD stand for spunk disorder?

And if any of those three end up winning the league then fair play, for now none look close.

They look very average, nothing to fear.

Good call, Ipswich were very good at Oxford and Blackburn. I’ll be honest and admit I’m shitting myself playing them twice within a few weeks.
