Well, yes it does open in under a month, but that doesn't mean we are necessarily going to get players in on day 1 in January, sometimes it doesn't happen until the end of the window. It’s the only thing, I think. But people need to learn not to overreact, the window opens in under a month and we aren’t going to blow our entire lead in that time.
Not having a dig at KKH, just reminding a few people here that there are reasons beyond the ref that we didn't get anything from the game. We mustn't get all spoilt and entitled when things don't go our way!And he bottled a challenge.
It's his first start so let's let him off
That would be such a boost. 3 points and to break the hoodoo.Slept on it, still fine. The third was annoying as it makes it look a panning. We should have been ahead first half, played well. Players missing, shit ref, probably the hardest game of the season Ipswich away.
We will lose games, some people on here have got a bit entitled I think.
Hopefully Torp and Sakamoto to come back and we can bounce back and get something at a real bogey ground.
Every game is different and the order is what it is. I think a point at Preston would be decent if we backed it up with a home win vs Bristol. That would be such a boost. 3 points and to break the hoodoo.
As they say, it's a funny old game. We lose on Tuesday and Middlesbrough could only be 4 points behind.
Not saying it's going to happen (I think we will get at least a draw on Tuesday), but another loss and any more players injured and the wheels could come off a little.
We need 4 points from the Preston/Bristol games I think. Just to keep the momentum going
I seen him stretching after chasing back, I thought he was imitating Saka for a second or 2 when he bowed over with the ball at his feet, if he gets injured then we really are well and truly in the shitIf true, " Grimes never gets injured" until he plays for us.
Possibly because Lampard might not be too impressed from what he's seen of Wolfy as yet although I am only summisingThere is an argument we should have played 5atb today without 2 natural wingers available .. not sure why we never
8 points from the next 4 would be a very good return.
He could have and should have been blooded sooner possibly, there have been many times in my mind, the same with Woolfy for that matter?Kai Andrews has got a bit of class about him. Just needs to get up to speed with championship

Saw the same and thought oh f***, but he seemed to play through it.That's why I said tweaked. Obviously wasn't a pull, maybe it was just tightness or cramp, but he definitely felt something.
I thought the complete opposite, he looked nervous and out of his depth. Not sure he'll make it with us.I really like the look of this lad.
Strong in the tackle, physical, always looking to receive the ball, happy to have it in tight areas, not scared to take a player on.
Control lets him down occasionally but I think he'll break through at some point.
Still think he should go on loan if he's not going to get more minutes than he is currently, though given our lack of numbers, maybe best he stays.
nonsense, should be confident of beating PNE, Bristol and Swansea.Tough ask. It would be a great return.

Preston are pretty shite, the only reason people fear them is our record there but that means nothing. Bristol at home is very winnable.Preston and Southampton away are very tough games. Bristol City isn't exactly easy either.
Twice to usJust to put some perspective on it, Fulham lost 10 games when they won the league with 90 points.

Southampton will be hard but fuck me you act like we are 7 point clear and haven't only lost games when we have players out and shite refs.
means nothing, every game is a different gameThe record clearly means something because we've never won there!
So you’d be happy getting around a point a game the rest of the way after such a great start? Because that’s what making the playoffs basically would entail. That would be quite the bottle job akin to Walsall from last season.
In hindsight I wonder if we should have started with an extra man in defence and played more on the counter as Ipswich have struggled against teams playing the low block. Obviously we started brightly and had KKH taken his chance or Eccles' shot gone in or Hirst gotten sent off (which he should have been), the outcome could have been different. If we had our full complement of BTA, Saka and Torp, I'm confident we would've won, but we're obviously stretched at present. Maybe we should look at games against parachute teams (all of whom have started to pick up wins of late) especially away from home a little differently and implement more conservative strategies/tactics to give us better odds of at least getting draws and not losing. Just my thoughts.
We likely would have but it was last minute so I guess they thought as we'd trained and prepared for 4atb they'd stick with thatI definitely think we should go 5atb when we've got too many personnel missing.
Was thinking about this, and I think the formation we're playing requires a bedding in period and with too many changes it really loses its effectiveness.
Hopefully not a consideration Tuesday as we have nearly a full complement

Have to say after we saw it at Boro and it really got the game under more control I thought we’d see it again. The way we play requires very high familiarity with the system which KKH just hasn’t got (but can only get through playing).I definitely think we should go 5atb when we've got too many personnel missing.
