Getting a bit tired of the Allen does a job thing.

Tidy enough on the ball and fine when we are in possession. But midfielders were just gliding past him today at times. Can’t get around the pitch well enough for me, Andrews looks like can.

Allen offers far more than Andrews who is very inexperienced and has a lot to do to even make it at this level

Well given you said sack Lampard after 4 games and get robins and Viveash back im sure it’s an opportunity to make nonsense digs

I don't think i did Grendel but I do think it's time to move on from your one line barbs when a forum is about having constructive comment sharing.
Perhaps when you give your head a wobble, you can also take part and give us your take on the game?

We’re gonna lose more games. Some of you really need to accept that quickly, the rage is almost tangible.

One positive is Kai Andrews gave a confident performance. He is likely to be needed over the next month.

he didn't, he looked stiff and exhausted much like he did after the oxford game

if he had tweaked his hammy he's off and straight doen the tunnel for treatment as the game was lost at the point

In reality its one of the fixtures im more content with losing to be honest.

I'd be more pissed off if that was against Swansea or Sheff W

Pointless commenting against the performance when you're up against officiating like that.

What can you do when goalkeepers are allowed to whatever they want with their hands?

I would say two cup finals coming up, to get back on a front foot. But they’re all cup finals.

Thought he looked good when he came on, some nice touches, he certainly didn't look out of place.
Pity we weren't anywhere near our best.

We weren’t necessarily bad today, just not at our best. IMO the scoreline flatters them massively, and as I’ve said previous double standard ref decision turn the game on its head and you could argue Walton could go for the handball too.

We are never going to go full season losing only one game. This feels a bit like the Wrexham game, need to reset & build another run together which we’re capable of doing starting at Preston and hopefully including these lot at our place where we do them!

I thought it looked looked more like a thigh or groin, (if I'm thinking of the same incident), but he looked OK after that

Let’s keep balance . It wasn’t dreadful, yes we were OFF, especially 2nd half, but the game changes with hurst - before that we played well and controlled.

we looked leggy and tired 2nd half, but to be expected.

On we go!

Wasn't impressed with them
Players missing, individual errors and shocking refereeing helped them immensely.

Be a different story at the cbs

Unlikely. He played on after and finished the game. If he had pulled a hammie he would have been straight off.

On paper this is arguably your hardest away game of the season.

Lets get it over and done with. Get through this month and reinforce in Jan. We are still in a great position.

I still think these and Southampton are contenders for the automatic spots. Thought it before they picked up tom their for is ominous, the depth in their squads are very good too.

In hindsight maybe going here and shutting up shop and grinding out a point should have been the plan, that said until the Hurst controversy we looked the better team.

Went to absolute shite after the first goal mind.

I would say the ref might give us something at home but then I watch the officials miss the clearest red card and penalty I've ever seen last week.

Look at their couple of results before this game

If we can beat them at home then nothing is lost.

The squad just looks very bare right now.

If he'd not booked Eccles for the same this is a non issue...

I think they have "higher bar" for a second yellow, maybe this is that bullshit initiative in play?

Let's be honest, its a result that has been coming. Weve been way off the pace for weeks. Been behind too many times, and a team with the depth Ipswich have, you cant afford to do that. I dont think at any point today did we look deserving of the win. Rudoni looked Rusty, KKH was a passenger, Grimes, Kitch and Bobby all sloppy in possession at the back. Ive not seen as many sideward and backward passes since Sammy Clingan left. We couldn't break down their formation. In JDS, MVE and KKH we've got 3 of the fastest full backs in the division, yet we didnt once use that as a threat in the counter attack. The play was slowed down and passed backwards in pointless possession along the back line. It was either passed backwards or a hopeful hoof to their defenders heads or their throw in. Eccles was the best player on the pitch for me, so to drag him for the ever negative, ever passive Allen when the ball was already being passed backwards was a strange one.

That said, 3-0 massively flatters to deceive, as much as we were bad, Ipswich weren't actually that good either. Not 3-0 good.

We can moan about yet another referee bottling yet another big decision, and down to 10 men at 0-0, it could well have been a completely different game. But we cant blame the officials for how poor we were to a man today. And have been for a fair few weeks now.

That's why I said tweaked. Obviously wasn't a pull, maybe it was just tightness or cramp, but he definitely felt something.

Said it before but the lack of depth in the squad is that only thing that could fuck us over at this point.

I just don't understand what position KKH was playing rly.

Hopefully saka is back soon and we can play with familiarity again. Torp too as Allen and Andrew's were never gonna get us back into it imo

We did have chances today though and imagine our xg was good. Their keeper played very well

We go again

Is Rushworth allowed to play juggle with the ball whenever he wants or is it just Ipswich players?
