We were marginally better second half but Ipswich obviously had no fear of us so just let us have it, we still barely threatened them.

Robins got it wrong today as his numerous changes showed. That said, a lot of our players are miles off the intensity we had last season.

Must be six games I reckon this season where we've lost the game when the teamsheet went in. Mainly when Ayari has been on it.

Let’s bring on our 6’3 striker onto the wing because Godden is already on. Madness. Shit starting lineup, and Simms had to be on from HT. Ipswich are clearly a good team but we bottled it today. Sheaf awful. Sakamoto clearly should have started. Send Ayari back now. Wonder if Robins will be asked why he started?

It’s absolutely justified to be angry and annoyed at that first half and questions have to be (but won’t) be asked of MR i.e. why did you temporarily lose the plot.

But, there’s absolutely no need for any bed wetting nonsense again. We aren’t going down - nowhere near. And I still expect a strong second half of the season with a few necessary additions in Jan and MR not losing the plot again.

Absolutely, I thought we’d lose but play okay-ish, Ipswich are just a very good team and that’s fair, we’re rebuilding and they’ve hit on a system that clearly works. Before the game people were basically saying “we’ll show them how to play” but there’s a reason they’re 1 point off top and we’re not.

The key thing is we smash 2 or 3 past Birmingham, it’s not “must win” we but we have to turn up for that game and score goals, and also Robins has to stop pissing around with the team. The formation and squad was great last game, leave it like that and let the players do their thing.

This is what happens when you spend the summer investing in players who are meant to play in a certain system, only to give up on it after a dozen or so games.

It’s all well and good saying that 4-3-3 is the obvious way for us to play, but when we only have one natural winger in the entire squad (and he’s apparently short of fitness again) then it’s not going to be pretty when you inevitably have to make changes.

Could understand one of the Ayari / O'Hare changes pre match but both was very strange . Left us inviting pressure and with only Wright up top no outlet . Thought he looked better again today though

Executing the basics is what I see missing. Our passing at times is woeful and the set pieces are pisspoor. Better second half but let’s face it, the fucking bar never made it off the floor in the first half.

Is that right we had six corners to their one? what did they do give us corners instead of throw ins because they know how useless we are at them

Poor. Really poor.

Two results against naff sides hides a poor season.

First half was a horrible watch. Ipswich played around us with freedom and confidence and we had no answer.

Second half they took the piss. They barely broke a sweat and we didn't look interested.

Godden misses another pen. He grabs a tap in at Millwall and he's thrown back into the mix. The others up top just as bad.

Sheaf was dreadful. A game against a good midfield and he looked petrified. Some hopeless balls forward.

Credit to Ipswich. They will be well up there. So similar to us in previous seasons. Riding the wave of positivity. Playing without a fear. Players who are collectively working for each other.

Enjoy a trip to Portman Road. Their fans couldn't even be arsed to make a noise as they were so comfortable.

Thought we were much better second half who knows what might had happened had we scored the pen. At the end of the day we were beaten from a decent first goal and a bit of a worldie second.

Robins will come out with more BS excuses.
