Marosi 6 - not much to do and distribution good as usual
Dabo 8 - Great game
Hyam 6 - solid
McFadz 6.5 - apart from the mistake for the goal he had a great game. Would’ve been higher but for that.
Rose 6 - solid
McCallum 7 - I think he won 7/8 headers today. Most against someone about a foot taller.
Walsh 6 - Tidy footwork but not as effective as he has been.
Kelly 6 - Does what Kelly does
Shipley 5 - he’s been great this season but not today.
Westbrook 5 - same as Kelly. Robins right to change earlier than he normally does.
Biamou 6 - Good endeavour but it didn’t really happen for him today. He is a handful though and it sticks much better up there when he’s playing.

O’Hare 7 - has to start
Bakayoko 5 - maybe try him at centre half

I couldn’t watch the game but Bakayoko did well for O’Hares goal

Was a bit of a flippant comment and probably a bit harsh. He’s done ok.

That one in the first half (the twirl) to take the ball from one and past the other was straight from FIFA.

When he first got here I didn't rate him but as usual I was wrong and I like him now, very rugged in the tackle but makes the odd error, to be expected for a league 1 player

Don't think he'll be hanging around league one for too long tbh

I think of the players out there today Dabo, McCallum, Westbrook, O’Hare and Walsh will all play at a higher level.

Bright start... then went a bit flat. Attacking wise, only O'Hare was a threat in the 2nd half. Sadly, the set pieces and long throws were a joke.

There was one long throw at a flatter trajectory that was excellent and caused Ipswich difficulty. Unfortunately the majority looped in.
Ipswich an excellent footballing side...first I’ve seen that I thought were better than us; it was only when they started time wasting outrageously that we built up pressure in last 10mins.

They looked a good side but created virtually nothing.

Marosi 6...did not come off his line a couple times at corners when the ball was in 6yd box but looked safe rest of time

Dabo 7...puts the fight into the team. Makes himself available at all times...but there is an occasional lapse from him

Rose 6...ok defensively but distribution I thought was poor today

Macfadzean 5...one off for giving away ball when they scored

Hyam 7...the best of the central defenders today. Calm and assured both in and out of possession. Great at talking to mccallum when on defensive

McCallum 7... would like him to get the ball over a bit quicker when he moves forward. Developing into a very good player. I said before season I was worried about his aerial ability. He has proved me wrong...I now expect him to win most balls in the air

Walsh 7...decent game...works well with Kelly

Kelly 7... does what he does. No fuss but breaks up play and gets us moving

Westbrook 6...becoming a better player than earlier in season. A bit quiet today.

Shipley 5...worst game for a while. The more he tried the worse he got. He is not that bad. But does bottle out 50/50s

Biamou 6...needed someone working alongside him. Looked better when Baka and O’Hare on.

........
Baka...6. Tries but just doesn’t use his attributes
O’Hare...7. Gone off boil a bit but persisted for the goal

Thought our full backs were good - 7/8
Thought Walsh and Kelly were solid and kept us moving - 7/8
Having a manager that not only changed the game when needed, but speaks sensibly, by paying compliments to one of the best sides we have played this season and highlighting the frustration of not taking our own chances - 8
Hope and pray the dad in block 28 is OK, looked in a bit of trouble at the end.

Dabo started as a Jordan clarke, grew into it like a dujon sterling, then started to power upfield like a Jack grimmer, now is pulling out tricks like an bright enbakahrhwjrhw, ladies and gents if he continues to improve in the same trajectory we could have a play and a half on our hands...

Why? We nearly scored from multiple of them.

I agree, McCallum long throws means we can almost use them as a set piece, must of got 4-5 chances of set pieces

He’s had a number of MOTM performances including a few at the start of the season. I don’t think he’s improving, I think it’s just some fans are starting to accept he’s a different player to Sterling. I think he’s more dimensional than sterling anyway and he’s more of a fighter.

can't agree with you there mate. Watched the first game of the season and he was shocking. He steadily improved and now is a decent playwe looking to attack and also put a foot in.

Well you can disagree with all these people as well from a game in the first month of the season.

Overall I thought we played well against one, if not, the best team in the division. The had one clear shot, which we created for them. Unfortunately, we again missed our chances which had we taken 20 % of them we would have won.
Overall think we saw the best two team in the league today and am optimistic about the future.

Marosi 6.5 - didn’t do much wrong today
Dabo 8 - Great game, one of our only attacking threats
Hyam 6 - distribution is a worry
McFadz 6 - he made a mistake and clearly the fans scapegoat. Had a decent game
Rose 6.5 - nowt wrong
McCallum 6 - lots of endeavour but lacked pace and confidence
Walsh 6 - slightly missing today
Kelly 7 - key in the midfield
Shipley 5 - very Poor today, passing was all over the place
Westbrook 5.5 - not much about him today
Biamou 6.5 - Crying out for a partner today, battled for scraps today

O’Hare 7 - The difference today
Bakayoko 5.5 - didn’t get going today

What is your point? I said he had some MOTM performances towards the start of the season. The two examples are both from August. The original post made out he was dreadful towards the start of the season when he actually was most people’s MOTM 2 of the first three games.

We have just drawn the first of four games against the best team in division one by far. Going to be an interesting month. High marks for all of the team. I thought that they looked like two championship sides
