So they are going to wait then.... or at least by announcing this it reminds Sisu of the fact they are going to lose more and more money while they piss about with us.

One thing, admin if it came, now is the time! As we haven't got started and points are low it would give us a chance! I have been told we only have enough money to run untill jan not the end of the season, I don't no how true it is but as we currently can't piss in a pot it actually might true! Seems Orange Ken us the problem then!!

Sale of Turner willfund us till xmas, then get rid of Clingan and Craine in Jan, and there are hoping that will get us through until the summer.

The League One TV money will come then !

Which will last til when? We won't have a team capable of getting back up and our crowds will drop to 10k, then how much do we start losing every month?

I think they are just trying to bluff SISU into making a move, everybody knows that they want out. If Admin comes then SISU will recieve hardly anything back and would be better for them to sell before admin comes.

Exactly right..... sell all you can, pocket the return then sell for as much as you can. If SISU put us into administration, they may get 5p in the £ back, whereas if they strip us out and sell as a "going concern" then there will still be a fair value left for them. Keeping us going until the end of the season is just a continuing drain and a diminishing of the resource. it only makes financial sense if they sell players and sell the club now...........

Admin would be the worse possible thing as it will pretty much confirm relegation. I don't buy into this lets get relegated then we will storm league 1 with Hoffman in charge.

Me neither, but look at it another way from SISU's point of view.
Let's say you have a pretty nice house with a few bits of valuable, antique furniture. You're broke, can't pay the mortgage the house needs a fortune spending on it and it's starting to fall down. You can sell a few bits of furniture and stay another year while the house falls down around you or you sell everything now and pocket a few quid. leaving it another year and you have no furniture and a worthless shell of a house. No brainer for SISU I think.

'And Hoffman brushed aside suggestions that the original bid would have fallen foul of league rules because Allardyce is a director of CUJU8’s parent company Game8.

When the plan was first conceived he was not connected with any club.

Having accepted the Upton Park job he would have been required to resign his directorship if the deal had gone through but Hoffman insisted: “Of course we understood the Football League rules and would have complied with those.

"It is ridiculous to think that we would be that naive not to.'

Any comment from all those totally slating Hoffman and saying he was an idiot and/or full of shit?

When this came out a few of us said that surely Hoffman would know the rules and wouldn't have been stupid enough for this sort of oversight. If this is true what he's saying here it all makes perfect sense.

I think Admin is the only way we can get rid of SISU, let new owners come in with a clean slate.

To be honest that statement form Hoff was a bit of anger and him letting off steam.

SISU have rumbled the hoff camp and the investors are not a happy bunch.

well if the3y have £30M or whatever is quoted, that will just clear debts and leave us in the same position. The Hoff needs to buy the club for next to nothing in order to give the manager something to play with...

What have they rumbled exactly? I don't get it. The fact that Allardyce was part of the original company looking to buy the club and yet Hoffman has already clearly explained this and that he would have simply resigned his position?

Sounds more like Sisu or whoever throwing mud and hoping it will stick. In their best interests to make any bid look foolish to make them look the more viable option!

In terms of not keeping to confidentiality and bleating to the media. That is a serious failure of business ethics.

Think if anybody using the Allardyce link as an excuse then it is the Hoffman camp.

If Allardyce not a problem, then why have all his alleged investors pulled out?

If it's the privacy thing, we still don't know who they are about from Ken Bruce, so not much of an issue, and what do they have to hide anyway?

Anyway Hoffman and his backers will not deal directly with SISU or the current board now so the deal is dead.

I would not trade admin for Hoffman coming in.

Doesn't appear that way to me, Lord. Why would Hoffman's lot use the Allardyce link as an excuse? The suggestion is that Sisu or agents of Sisu (good name for a band) started to leak info of names involved when they agreed not to and to keep to a confidentiality agreement.

As I've said a dozen times or so, the Channel 4 documentary suggested that many, many football club owners were not known or clear and many were being kept secretive behind company names and groups that were hard to identify. Could well be there is some dodgy money involved in this and these people didn't wish their names splashed all over the press. The Ken Bruce thing was probably just the thin end of the wedge and who knows how much more would have been leaked and how many names would have been named.

Not good of course if some of them are a bit dodgy, but you have to ask the question, just who isn't dodgy in football these days?

Just had my fill with dodgy owners(past and present), would be nice to have some transparency for once, and not just to close our eyes and hope for the best Otis.

Agree of course wholeheartedly. Think people are just a little more trusting of Hoffman based on him being a Cov supporter and us all believing as such he would want the best for the club.

Slim pickings I know but you can see why many City fans are putting their trust in him.

I don't have any problem with Hoffman at all. That's not to say the backers and the bid are worthy of our putting any trust in though.
