Quite apt if we're owned by the dole office.
So the BBC gave a false statement? - http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-coventry-warwickshire-21033825
So to a Labour councillor who voted for the bailout gave a false statement, they were her words...
Ah so it must be true if its on CWR website LOL you are ridiculous to state a news site /radio station as fact.
Also Nowhere in your little link does the labour councillor say bail out and the last time I heard mutton was a man not a her
best go face palm yourself
In simple terms my post means ACL can exist with the football club in residence -- without the club my opinion is it won't.
The payment of rent is a sideshow and not the main issue.
It wasn't Mutton I was on about, it was Lynette Kelly, who herself said it was a bailout.
I didn't state is as fact, I'm just saying the BBC are also making a 'false statement'.
But, alas, Cloughie is always right.![]()
Not at all ACL got themselves a better and cheaper deal good business sense,
I'm sure if sisu were to do that you would be applauding them for their wisdom
Of course -- it's just like the days the British Motor Industry was bailed out by the taxpayer.
Good business sense for us all.
Almost certainly we will end up with a similar outcome as well.
No it's well documented on here by many that you always think your right,
But you do seem to have calmed down a little recently
I doubt it is in any imaginable way it is a similar scenario, yet the outcome no one can predict
% wise CCFC surviving or ACL , if I were a betting man and I'm not, but my money would be on ACL at the moment
I just CBA anymore... But I will back my opinions. I hope after all this falling out, every CCFC fan will look back after it finishes, and laugh it off.
For me though, I'm on CCFC's side and I do believe the club is in the right here, just SISU, well, technically CCFC, have gone about it in the wrong way, having said that, I do not know if they tried to deal with it in a better way.
I will say this, although I, and others are seemingly in the minority, it doesn't mean we are wrong, and I do hold this view: If SISU weren't negotiating, you could cut ACL's support by a minimum of 50%, regardless if they thought we were right or wrong.

Not to mention the fact without an anchor tenant, what do you use the stadium bowl for outside of concerts?
We need to work with SISU to find the solution, I'm sure they have a strategy!!!!
Fisher has gone on the record to say rent is being paid, apparently more than £800k!!!!

You are inevitably right as in troubled times ACL can rely on the good old Coventry Taxpayer to help out as no doubt the financial terms can be "restructured" time and time again.
The Football Club cannot.
It stinks.
