Just been trawling the web and came across this:

Re: Controlling Unitholder

The Directors of the SISU CAPITAL FUND LIMITED (the "Fund") wish to announce as at the 1st of October 2010, The Public Institution for Social Security hold an interest of 821,508.47 shares in the Fund, representing 97.96% of the issued share capital of the Fund.

have no idea if it has any relevance to sisu's investment in ccfc but this is a kuwait based government body

May be wrong, but I don't think that particular investment fund is the one holding the shares in CCFC . SISU have several investment funds, the club is owned by two of the if I remember rightly - but not that one.

I think they all filter up to master funds

If this organisation is a major investor in their funds, €160m they should have submitted to the fit and proper person's test. I cannot see a foreign government social security fund wanting to invest in an English football club.

my guess is nothing to do with our investment and more likely linked to the Nigerian oil side of SISU's investments

SISU have been for years finding people to invest in developing African industry in particular Nigerian oil...thought that was common knowledge since Onye was at one time on the board?

If this is true they'd be better off employing someone Chinese!

No. I'd like to receive more info on that OSB though, if possible.

But ACL is, being 50% owned by the CCC.

A quango is FUNDED by a government. ACL is not. It's a properly constituted commercial organisation. It posts its accounts with Companies House. OSB has oreads posted a commentary on them. Unlike CCFC, who haven't.

quango surely stands for 'quasi autonomous non governmental organisation',

It does. I began labelling ACL as a quango. Seems to be catching on. It's derisory tag is I believe appropriate though does have a degree of journalistic licence.

And why are Taylor, Grendel, Torch and their followers ignoring OSB's post?
Silenced by Fisher's lies? Maybe even Grendel has a shred of pride and can't defend the indefensible Fisher. "Not here to subsidise a failing company" wasn't it?

No one is ignoring anything.

It was an opinion.

There are other factors we could throw in of there is no football club as a permanent resident.

Effect on income from named sponsor
Total collapse of all match day income
Reciprocal demise of income from other future projects to lack of established brand identity
Issue if having to recruit extra personnel to create new income streams
Likelihood of a very major rival upping its game to ensure that they are not threatened.

With respect I know a significant amount about marketing planning forecast and brand representation. Apology not needed and I am sure is not expected.

In simple terms my post means ACL can exist with the football club in residence -- without the club my opinion is it won't.

The payment of rent is a sideshow and not the main issue.

Not to mention the fact without an anchor tenant, what do you use the stadium bowl for outside of concerts?
We need to work with SISU to find the solution, I'm sure they have a strategy!!!!

What was that 14m bailout then? The CCC - local government.

Who spends money to maintain the RICOH and who funds ACL? The CCC and Higgs charity...

Tbh, I've just got back from rugby training and I've had shit loads of school work... To give you an idea, I did not sleep Tuesday to Wednesday because I was finishing off my first draft of 'historical enquiry', I fell asleep in lesson, got back, went to sleep, then went to work, went to sleep when I got home.

A false statement, it is called restructuring your loan agreements or in a personal note changing mortgage provider for a better deal

I'm sure if sisu were to do that you would be applauding them for their wisdom

It's called getting your local council to bail you out something no genuine private organisation could even dream of.

Even you must find it embarrassing and humiliating.
