No you can't do that especially not before a world cup.Can we as a club, refuse players being selected to play friendlies?
Can the players turn down selection?
Appreciate it's not a good look for the players to do so, but the sheer magnitude of what is at stake maybe understood by the International teams?
No you can't do that especially not before a world cup.
You have to do the Ryan Giggs special and get a minor calf injury or something to get out of it
Is this opinion or a written rule?
I guess clubs can't make the decision but a player could turn down selection?
Haji, Lati, Dasilva, Onyeka, BTA. Not sure if there are others.Who is likely to go and when?

Jamaica also likely to play a second game given their first is against New Caledonia. Games are being played in Mexico.
- Jay Dasilva – Wales (H) 26th Mar
- Frank Onyeka – Nigeria (No game?)
- Brandon Thomas‑Asante – Ghana (A) 27th March & (A) 30th March - both in Europe
- Joel Latibeaudiere – Jamaica (A) 26th March - Fooking miles away!
- Haji Wright – USA (H) 28th March & (H) 1st April
Maybe Simms will get his Poland call up.Get Simms ready now cos the Yanks always ruin Haji
Outside chance of Sakamoto with Japan playing both their next fixtures in the UK?

Off the top of my head Japan have Kubo, Doan, Minamino on the wings, all playing for top tier European clubs (Sociedad, Frankfurt, Monaco).Always wondered how good the Japan team is and how close Sakamoto is to getting in the squad. He only has two appearances for them.
You'd think being a regular for the club at the top of the Championship would at least get him a look in?

Not sure what their depth is like but I imagine he’s a little way off a call up.
