Absolutely, I think that day finally showed our owners the potential of the club and since then their stance and style has improved greatly (not that it was difficult to be better than before tbf )
But tge checkatrade was the season before, we were still relegated and the squad overhauled. Stoke was January and we weren't pulling up trees in L2 at that time, as it was we only secured the last spot in the play offs but I just felt the momentum was building from Stoke and MK Dons cup games and a togetherness we carried through into the league.
Random Wembley factoid. Steve Guppy was the first player to win finals at both Wembleys. Wycombe and Leicester at the old venue and Stevenage Borough at the new place.
