Jordan Clarke: Impressing on loan at Yeovil

Sky Sports understands a number of clubs are keeping tabs on Coventry City defender Jordan Clarke during his loan spell at Yeovil.

Clarke joined Yeovil on loan at the end of October and he has made an instant impression at Huish Park.
The 23-year-old's arrival at Yeovil has coincided with an upturn in the side's fortunes, with Gary Johnson's men picking up two wins and a draw in their last four matches.
The former England Under-19 and Under-20 international, who is playing in his preferred right-back position at Yeovil, popped up with two goals in a 2-1 win at high-flying Notts County and his performances have not gone unnoticed among other clubs.
A host of sides are actively monitoring Clarke's situation and he could find himself the subject of interest in January if he continues to catch the eye.
Clarke, who is on loan at Yeovil until January, has made over 140 first-team appearances since making his debut for his hometown club Coventry in August 2009

Clarke is awful. End of story.

How often did SP play him in his best position?

The Yeovil manager must have seen something. And now he has a player on loan that has transformed his team. I wish SP could do that. Not bad for an awful player.

He played countless times at RB and CB for us and was at best mediocre, it just shows what a harrowing level of football we are at when Jordan Clarke can impress and bag two against a 'top 6' team. A few 'good' games on loan for Yeovil doesn't make him a good player, he is and always will be shit.

The guy on loan from Everton looks far more capable anyway.
