Coventry City's Josh Eccles on 'freak' injury that's left him with an extra bone

Coventry City news from CoventryLive as Josh Eccles explains the gory details of his 'freak' injury suffered against Sunderland
www.coventrytelegraph.net

How bizarre! I've never heard of someone growing an extra leg bone due to injury!

My dad grew an extra bone in his ear which was quite dangerous. He had it removed. Kept growing and would have needed another operation but he left the building before that happened.

Did Lampard have a stroke when he answered this question or am I having one reading the answer?

I am not in the camp of Lampard does great interviews. He serves up a repetitive dialogue of waffle from game to game.

No he is pretty consistent whoever interviews him. Although yes Lorna Bailey is poor.

That's because Frank Lampard's is just down to Earth, not like some managers who think they're the bee's knees.

Smoke and mirrors - why give away stuff - ok with me if they surprise me with team selection

I'm okay with it. Just not in the camp of how brilliant he is with the media. I think his style is very similar to Robins - honest and candid

Think Lamps is keeping things close to his chest.
Torp on the bench against Wednesday is promising.
Eccles may not make it for a while. No inside info, just a suspicion.
Rudoni some weeks could mean anything.

Why has this theory about Eccles injury being worse than they’re saying got about? Everything the club has said implies he wasn’t far off Wednesday and will definitely be back for Blackburn.

Eccles travelled with the team for the Wednesday game but pulled out in the morning. If the injury was bad he wouldn't have travelled.

Was he the removal that meant we had to field Varney?
