Did anyone see that Thomas remained seated during Can't Get You Out Of My Head? when everyone else was up bouncing. Hope he was just knackered.

I hope so but it is a coincidence to get cramp in the very muscle that was strained. Unless it was the other leg of course.

Do we know if Torp and EMC would be available, if we were to make the play off final

Hopefully EMC will be fit enough that they can throw him on last 20 mins if needed (Sunderland away/final if there).

Weird how those slight training knocks only affected fringe players.

Haji & Eccles, approx 2 weeks to training with the squad, I guess that's a month before starting their playing comebacks.

Josh Eccles lifts lid on play-off injury and sets Coventry City return goal

Coventry's own Josh Eccles has opened up on the play-off semi-final injury he thought he'd recover from in two weeks - but turned out much worse

Doesn't exactly say what it is though. I know it's partially clickbait but they make it sound like it's truly awful. Wonder if it might be some form of clotting?

I was wondering the same thing. The way it was described that when he showed it to the rest of the team they were all shocked, without telling us what had actually happened felt very click bait. A blood clot or some form of hemorrhaging would be my guess. It's kept him out for a long time what ever it is

Most likely something like this - sounds like a haematoma to me but can't be sure

To summarise, it's nothing much & he should be back for the Oxford game.

Well that's the problem it never is much when it comes to Sheaf.

His had preseason to get fit, plays in the first game and I only after six minutes goes off injured.

To be quite honest, he will find it hard to displace anyone in that midfield, on current form.

I think the best Sheaf can hope for is to stay fit for a move to another Championship club.

Sheaf and Sakamoto fit again.
Eccles on target to be back after the international break.
Lati a little behind Eccles in his recovery from knee injury.

It just seemed logical at the time, then a few days later, he’s gone.

Might as well close this thread down now he’s gone.

Eccles and Lati have not had a pre-season. Will take a while for them to get up to speed.

Eccles will probably be on the bench for the next game. He has been training for a while and played a half of an U21 match the other day.

Really interesting!

He's describing something called heterotopic ossification, which I have seen a few times after a patient has ignored fracture healing advice, leading to abnormal bone growth around the injury. Not sure I have seen it from soft tissue injury before though!
