You are right our away support in those halcyon days was massive, anywhere I remember getting special train number 3 to Carlisle and over 10000 to Crystal Palace for a Saturday night game, moved so it didn't clash with the West Brom v Q.P.R. league cup final, the first staged at Wembley. But you are correct the cretins running OUR club nowadays have no idea or care about who we are, where we came from or more scarey where we are going or end up. And one more thing the fans of those days would not have accepted what is currently happening to OUR club as meekly as todays fans so-called are.I remember being part of 10000 plus going to away matches when we were in Div 3. Can't get more than 1500 to go to home games now. That's the SISU effect.
Still the same city but all the enthusiasm knocked out by a bunch of amateurs getting involved in something they don't have a clue about.
Tim pack your bags and try to do something you are good at. Whatever that may be.
