Robins wouldn’t play dovin or kitching, they’ve made a huge difference, don’t really need any signings do we ?

The Lampard and coaching team influence is now really coming into effect into the team.

Lots of positives. We’re harder to beat, clean sheets, there’s fight and passion in the team.

Feel good factor coming back and proud to support the players.
He was never shit manager
And the squad was never shit
And the players were never bottlers

At least people seeing that now at least though. Could be a fun period coming up hopefully.

Considering the key players we have out, it’s great to see how Frank is getting a tune out of the squad.

Play offs are not out of the question…

I wonder if our uptick in form means we won’t go for anyone in this window

Yet we had a thread about wishing the season was already over lol

Love him or hate him Doug king thought this squad was top 6 worthy and he tried to save the season

So far it's working out in fairness to him

He is definitely improving every aspect of this squad, which is not his. Very good coaches and players are reacting. Are we seeing the money we paid on young potential showing up with better coaching.

Yup

One thing weirdos said was that he was incapable of making the current crop better. They used that to say king had made a bad decision

Well he is doing well withe existing squad that cannot be denied.

As I said in the match thread, we need to stick to 3ATB, it’s the only way we look difficult to beat. Intrigued to see if Lampard does it or goes back to his preferred 433 once certain players return.

It's not getting carried away though. I'm not saying we will be in prwm next year or anything

But come on there were posts saying he was taking us backwards after like 3 games FFS. Just a week ago I read a poster say he shouldn't have been hired cos he can't impact the squad.

He's proven he can that's all I'm saying

I still think we left ourselves open a bit too long tonight but credit where it's due he made changes which ended the game really. We definitely weren't too nice tonight and disrupted them a lot (albeit Cantwell loves going to ground). One game at a time and on to Saturday.

6 wins 3 draws from 12 games

No new manager bounce still?

It starts at the back. Lampards biggest single positive contribution to date is to get pragmatic. Don’t piss about. Clear your lines and go again. No coincidence that the clean sheets come. We’re not giving the ball away 30 times a game just outside our own area. Add Kitching and Dovin who should always have been in and we’re not conceding endless shit goals. You’ve always got a chance then.

Nah. Once EMC and Wright are back we’ll switch to 433 and start blowing teams away.

First midweek away win in nearly 3 years (discounting the play off semi at Middlesboro)

22 Feb 2022 was the last midweek away win, 2-1 at Bristol City

What annoys me most is that it should easily be another 2 wins if we had just seen out Norwich and capitalised against 10 man Cardiff. All if's and buts, but really on paper our form is good. Lots of friends have text saying Lampard seems to be doing a good job

Btw , it's worth mentioning we probably have one of the better coaching teams in the league don't we ?

It absolutely has to help , frank constantly talking to his staff on the side .

Need the same run (that none of us knew how it would transpire !)from exactly the same point of the season.
19 games, one defeat.
That is what got us there then.
That will probably be the type of form that would do it this season
Bit too much in my opinion - unless we pick up some real quality in the window that improves the starting 11.

Robins was the first to drop him,we’d had 3 keepers after 12 games,

For a couple of games, then brought him back.
He played the majority of the games Robins managed.

You said he wouldn't play him, which is factually incorrect.
