Which Sky Blues player would you have most resembled in playing style?

For me, I would say probably someone like Dave Phillips.

I would never give up, always kept running and was a no nonsense type of player.

Morning Otis!
I’d probably say something like Dabo, not nearly as good (quite obviously) but a similar style. Good defensive head and fairly good in the tackle, run with the ball and make the overlapping run down the wing. Stamina used to be my strength, not so sure these days as it’s been a while! God I miss playing

Just thinking the same question for my 7 year old too. He’s the one in my avatar. Very big and built like a brick shithouse for his age group, massive amounts of strength on and off the ball, great footwork and ball control for his age. Even his positional knowledge is exceptional and he certainly knows where the net is, regularly scores 3+ a game. Can play either right wing or striker, a bit of a prolific Max Biamou up front, likes his long shots too. Out wide, hard to say but out of the current squad I’d say Jobello.
I know I have parental bias but he really is talented!

Adding to the previous seeing as it’s quiet, if I was to consider my four year old I can’t see him playing football, more Coventry rugby! A Dave Addleton (Aggie for those who watched the team a while back) kind of player the way he takes his brother down!

I’d like to think Roland Nilsson, in reality probably more Kevin Kyle.

I’d say Doyle, what I lacked in ability I made up for by being an ever present, never stopped running and liked to get stuck in! I miss football

I know. I do remember his name. It's just that he made no impression on me

Yeah, I was a bit like Doyle too, although I would always walk away from any confrontation.

Sideways Sam. Good positional sense and 100% passing when less than 5m

When I was a boy my favourite player was Huckerby so I tried copying him-which worked well as there was no offside for 9 year olds. Now I would say Mick Quinn but a bit more overweight

Under estimated player , one of the best first touches of any player I've seen in a city shirt , his thinking was always two or three steps ahead of everyone else , good player made to look average by the others around him.

Being a keeper I wanna say Westwood , but I hated coming for crosses and my kicking off the deck was laughable , but I was bloody good shot stopper so I’d have to say burge

Bit concerning a keeper has the word ‘blind’ in their username

I'd say Oggy. Spent years between the sticks with only one trophy to show for it.
I once saved 3 pens in a match against the same player, then let a back pass roll under my foot into the net. I blame the bobbly pitch.

Danny Fox good on the ball and great left foot but lacking pace for the next level, I didn’t tackle as well as him.

So, she achieved self-improvement and became a better person then I take it.

It's nice when I hear that someone used to be a bitch and are now redeemed.

Arjan de Zeeuw. Will shout a lot at the rest of the team to keep them organized, can pick a nice pass, but got the pace of a turd going uphill.
