I am already onto my second career having spent 20 years in IT and have been in catering since 2002 and have worked in restaurant, pubs, owned a guest house and now work in a cafe but I would love to own a kennels. We actually put forward a proposal to a local estate to build a kennels on their land and run it in conjunction with some stables that were already there but they chose another proposal. My wife trained to be a dog groomer and I converted a massive shed we have in the garden so she can do it from there and I would say she is 50/50 whether she likes it or not and that usually depends on how well the owners look after their dogs between grooming, she has some that come back after about a year and are surprised when she shaves them because their coats are so badly matted.
