If no takeover happens what are we to do? (2 Viewers)

Time is running out on our team and its relationship with the championship - fact

Would you trade SISU still being here for a place in the championship? Perhaps by getting as many people behind the team as we can to create an amazing atmosphere at the Ricoh we could inspire some sort of points haul?. i know some on here are too young to remember this sort of stuff but Wimbledon springs to mind all those years ago in the premiership all be it Away, fans behind the team inspire - fact.

Surely we need to have a plan B, we could still protest in the ground with banners etc? I am not against the protest but just think we need to think smart here, we are the club not SISU or even the players IMO. We should still get SISU out but without any hope elswhere we could let our heart rule our mind at the expense of championship status. We are financillay doomed in League 1 with the financial constraints coming into play and if we have planned for championship status in our finances based on this we are even more fucked!

YEs! we're certainly caught between "a rock and a hard place" the infuriating thing for me is that our owners don't seem to care if we live or die, they continue to remain aloof, and completely unbothered, and unapproachable, and as remote as conceivably possible.
shortly after the much heralded Takeover, they discovered that you cant run a football club on "half a crown" the umbilical cord was cut and we were left to navigate the stormy seas of the Championship, in what was no more seaworthy than a Blue peter Raft, and whilst we founder, Sisu sit comfortably in the lifeboats, shrugging their shoulders, and "this" with the very future of Coventry City Foot Ball Club in grave danger.
At this time of great concern, we have to ask the question "In the history of English FootBall, has a club and their supporters been so grossly mismanaged, and mis led, and a once proud club, now struggling for its Life.

Tankie, I would think fans at clubs like Portsmouth and Darlington would probably disagree.

It's a difficult situation at the moment. SISU can't afford to plug all the holes in CCFC and the fans won't turn up at the Ricoh to give them a financial lift. It really is a vicious circle.

Then there's the talk of Gary Hoffman, but to be honest, how do we know that's going to work out and ultimately does he (and his backers) have the financial muscle to turn us around.

I think back to all the "if the Titantic was painted Sky Blue" cliches. Unforunately, we've now hit the iceberg.

The stayaways will never return under sisu or anyone else for that matter, they will only turn for a bit of success ie if we were in the play offs or a good cup run ala chelsea. It's left for the hardcore like us to the man the ship the rest of the time. Pathetic really.
