Why are some so keen for sisu to not pay ACL £590K in a week when it's become apparent that it will have to be paid before the club you do support (apparently) can come home?

It will be paid if the football league decree it a legitimate debt Tony. If it isn't are you suggesting it should be still paid even though there is no legal reason why it should be. Shall we just call it match day costs?

According to the CET they have put the money in an account for the football league to draw from.

Maybe this week they have put the full money into the account. A few weeks ago TF was saying a substantial amount (not the full amount) had gone into the account. The FL has had a meeting since then when the matter was to be discussed. They have since said it is listed for discussion in August, perhaps SISU were given an ultimatum between meetings to stop dicking around and get it sorted so the FL can administer the fund correctly.
