May be the question should be asked if these people are happy, but then if you never ask you can use it to score political points.

I don't think he does, but hey you never know?

Heaven forbid anyone disagrees with the Guardian and its well researched facts.

Does the question 'are you happy cleaning toilets for nothing?' really have to be asked?

No but say a fan has the choice of work at his club or being asked to do non paid work elsewhere what do you think the answer would be. I've done less pleasant things for no money when it for a cause I believe in.

If you don't ask the questions you're left to guess work based on your personal context, not really a sound decision making method.

Gone are the days of fans clearing the snow off the pitch in return for match tickets...

You realise that we already do this? which I assume will completely change your view on the practice. we are one of the 37 clubs who hire people on proper jobs for no money, football league do it too, all scumbags together.

It's funny how you have blindly assumed that my first post wasn't seriously supporting their stance.

LOL we've got a sensitive one

I take your point about people acting on behalf of the club for free - it's usually through their own free will. It's not compulsory and at the threat of having their benefits cut.

I understand that government policy to a certain extent, just find it pretty tasteless in the context of football clubs who pay such extortionate wages.

Sorry - I didn't realise Iain Duncan Smith posted on here. Sorry Iain.

Fucking hell, don't fall off your horse.

Yep, my mate was a physio for the Academy and worked for nothing. He got let go when Coleman left. He now works for Leicester who actually pay him.

How do you fire someone you're not paying?

Good on your mate though for getting fixed up.

He was doing it for experience as a part time thing. Even Nuneaton paid £30 a game to cover travel costs etc. He moved to us as we are a better stsndard. But they treat it as a privilege. So they don't pay.

We have no ground
We have a fan base in open revolt, with the club, with the council, with the FL and with each other
Our attendance is at a historic low
There is no strategic plan that any of us know of
We don't trust the current owners
We've had less league success that any other club in the top 4 divisions in the last 40 yrs

Help me understand the benefits of an owner?

[h=2]If fan ownership of CCFC could be achieved.... it would be a disaster for the club!![/h]

What a well researched and clinically argued point. I change my stance.

Let's say the fans do get total ownership - where are we going to get money for players from? Gonna need to sell an awful lot of wristbands to get any decent players!

And how much is this fighting fund right now? about 2 months ago the trust said they would publish how much this fund was - strangely it all went quiet. Have they wasted it on those pointlessly expensive banners and trips to London per chance?

My facts right ? really? What facts? need to sell 1 million bands at £1 to make £1 million! Is this fact incorrect? You saying Steve.B50 didn't come on here and categorically say he would reveal how the fighting fund is being used, and asked to stop asking about it as he was going to do it shortly?

Think you will find if you and the rest of the cretins at the trust actually looked up your own posts, you would indeed find that the grade 1 scumbag steve did indeed lie and said he would release the info on this very forum! Also considering the scum have come on here and stated that all proceeds go to the trust, it is a bit rich to say I have got my facts wrong you twat!

Your hatred of the truth coming out is becoming embarassing! You seriously saying the scum didn't say in the telegraph that part of the sale of the wristbands was going to charity (hint - they did)? Then low and behold on eBay they state explicitly all proceeds to go to this fighting fund! How is this not a lie? Or are you claiming they didn't say part of the proceeds would go to charity in the telegraph?

If that isn't a downright lie I don't know what is! They lie and lie and lie. They claimed there protests had hundreds - yet only achieved this in 1 protest! What about all those with less than 5?

And you want these tossers to run the club? It would go bust in a month! Of course if you can prove Steve.B50 never said he would reveal the fighting fund facts and figures (impossible because he did) then I will retract my statement about that. However, if you ever do bother to check the facts, you will find that once again I am correct, and the clique and lying bastards! But the scum never let the facts get in the way of propaganda (in the exact same way sisu do incidentally!)

Love it how some of the people actually "like" your posts.
