Anyone remember this person who just appeared from nowhere and started to send emails to try to arrange meetings held "under Chatham house rules"
His latest idiocy on twitter is suggesting that Northampton Town fans stop going to watch them and go and watch Coventry instead ,his reasoning is that Coventry charge less and are in a higher league this plum really does not get it does he

Particularly for casual supporters in Northampton for the bigger games.

It will also show that Northampton Town were wrong to rent the ground to SISU as it will erode their own support.

Well, this is a very real threat to Northampton.

Thay have allowed the Trojan horse inside their town. Now, if the sky blues can creep into a playoff place, and gain promotion, on a shoestring budget that is supported by Sisu for this season, next year the club will have far greater revenues and be in the championship.

At that point, people in Northampton may well start to think ' we can watch championship football here!' And then Sisu start to impose a preference to play on Saturdays, and slowly start to take over as the more important inhabitant at sixfields.....

How much longer before they start to make a play for ownership of the ground, or buy a share in it, to get a foothold in the development of the surrounding area? Then perhaps a dialogue with the FL about ' is it worth us going back to Coventry? Can't we change our name? After all, it would disrupt the football league schedule if you don't agree...?

At which point the FL roll over and accept their fate.

Most locals don't support the Cobblers, but follow the London teams with the usual Man Utd/Liverpool types. The Rugby team are well followed. The point being that if most of the town down alrady have well entranched support elsewhere, they are unlikely to spend cash on watching us in any numbers that could be regarded as significant. The Cobblers loyal supporters (and they are very loyal) won't be doing it, and rest would simply not care. Just a personal view - but based on living an working in the town for 28 years.

The one thing Im worried about is that the football league have stated the club must have plans to return to the city with a £1million bond in place. Well if SISU can cover losses for 3-5 years, then whats £1million to them? Peanuts
