I think it's time Hoff put his cards on the table (11 Viewers)

So if there is a viable takeover plan in place the fans need to know so we can step up the anti SISU protests and try and force them out. If there is no plan then we are stuck with SISU and the club will die a long slow death. If the fans know something better is around the corner then more people will join the cause.

March is the month to watch as if we go into admin after that we will start next season on -10 pts

The thing that keeps niggling me is we keep hearing a billionare is involved.....well £30m is a lot of money to buy a club but thats glove box money to a billionare so what's the problem in putting a bid forward? Somethings not right here.....

If there is a bid coming it has been a long time coming what is the hold up, all we hear is he's interested a billionaire is interested.
If he loves the club so much what is the hold up, he can see what's happening just as much as us.
People say he is going to takeover but as SDCC says I have not seen heard anything convincing that there is any kind of bid just rumours and talk.

It would be good to know if there is something happening....... last time he did say there was an offer on the table. There has been no such statemant recently. Maybe he is looking for headed letter paper to get his proposal on ( if there is one)

Either way I agree Hoff say somthing either way please to put people out of their misery. It must have been a terrible day for the fans there today, I feel terrible where I am.

The fans need to know one way or the other, if and what the plan is, no more bull, no more keys tweets just be truthful.
The club is going down the drain quickly and it's time the fans were treated with the respect we deserve, we arre asking sisu for what there plan is but nothing from hoffman, regarding what is going on.
Now I am not saying this just to undermine any kind of bid or anti hoff but could we be going from one frying pan into another regarding communication with the fans?

I agree BRR it is becoming soul destroying to witness something we all care about for however many years an individual has supported ccfc for being played with like a rich boys toy, someone needs to step forward and let us fans know what the fuck is going on, and both camps need to start communicating with the fans properly and not half arsed when it suits them.

We should ignore all this nonsense and get behind the team now and find ways of protesting whilst in the ground. Every game that goes by now without singing our hearts out is something we will IMO later regret.

Fully agree with the title of this thread. Hoffman needs to come clean on his intentions if there are any and if there isn't tell us and tell us why. No good peering through the glass with his mate Joe Elliott looking at the demonstraters, come out in the open and say what his intentions are and how he intends to achieve them.

I thought the train was rolling and we were going to enjoy the ride? I thought it was all over the Lloyds stand (except where I sit) I though you were having a word with the councillor Mutton?

Was Hoffman the guy who claimed to have American investors before SISU? A serious question as I do not definately no the answer.

Not sure mate but it could have been, I think the US consortium would have happened until the credit crunch blew it out of the water

I am pretty certain this was him. Was getting some American investors when Fletcher was Chairman. Got a lot of attention and press space and led to the Dowie comment about shopping at Harrods. Is this history repeating itself?

I'm pretty sure the nature of these things require confidentiality. And any way, he'd have just as many fans moaning if he was all over the press proclaiming it! People need to just accept that if anything is happening, it's not in public, and could take some time. Which is how it should be, not fought out on the back page of the CT. People need to just be patient, hope for the best, and until then face the reality that we have SISU as owners. And if we don't like that, then we do what we are doing anyway-fighting them and trying to make life as uncomfortable as possible for them.

If you could translate that into the Queens english I'll have a go at answering it.

Look at some of your prior posts on the takeover saga when you implied insider information about the takeover. A billionaire from far east, you said you would ask John Mutton about the prospects of them taking over the ground as you sit near him and how at the Brighton game the talk was of takeover in the Lloyds stand -- let's just say this was not my perception of events that day.

Thanks KD for answering the question how was your xmas by the way?

The way I see it hoff got/gave keys permission to send out tweets so he ruined his chance of keeping it done in private as I and others suggested it should be done.

I think the cov fan who introduced the Manhattan Group was a sports business consultant called Gary Hopkins, who had been living in the U.S. for over 20 years. If i remember correctly at the time, that the council backed Sisu and would not back the americans and that was why they pulled out of the deal. There was something about them having to pay back all the money owed to current directors and they were not willing to do this? Correct me if i am wrong.

You may be right it is a very similar name!!
