Just imagine......
- New owners
- A new agreement/stadium ownership
- A squad of CCFC academy players retained to build a new L1 team around
- Our high earning "better" players moved on.
Dare to dream!

I know. That's what Saints fans said.....

Its also what every other club going into administration since 2004 said -- other than Southampton, Palace and Leeds they have all been worse off.

Southampton had a billionaire backer. We haven't so its only going one way.

Why, everything had been going so great under SISU's responsible stewardship. A golden era, some say, the likes of which will never be seen again.

Some of you actually want the club to fall into admin or worse for the sake of an argument over back rent?

You all agree ACL's actions could not wait till the close season to sort it out?

Why now? Why this moment? What's the rush for a company who delight in telling us they are now profitable and have a good plan without a football club in the stadium? Oh and what about the public, the supporters of CCFC as we know it..do they care about those?

There are some numpties at ACL that's for sure. SISU likewise but the biggest ego's seem to be at ACL.

It's a lot more than just a row over back-rent. It's possibly the only way we can get new owners, and it prevents SISU from trying to liquidate the club as they threaten.

In terms of "why now", it's an attempt to get the 10 points deduction through this season rather than next season. I know you would think we had a good chance at the play-offs if we needed to win our last 5 games 6-0 with other teams losing, but honestly, it had gone!

In a perverse way , us not in the top six could be a blessing.Imagine losing 10 points now and missing out.

Only way we could successful move forward would be to sell 12-15 season tickets so the club could set a good budget for the season

Do you not think that ACL will have employed the best lawyers/accountants/advisors their money can buy to guide them through all this?...You can see it now can't you? ACLs young upstarts??? SISU meanwhile would likely send their all-knowing own seasoned non-football people in to do battle.
Who wins is anybody's guess!

What's the10 points got to do with ACL?

They obviously want the club to have new owners-ones that they can work with, ones that would be better for the club. That's going to be easier to secure if the 10 points deduction that comes with administration is this season rather than next.

there is a date by which clubs must go into administration to have the deduction that season. if it is later, it kicks in the start of the following season.

pretty sure, if someone wants to clarify this would be swell
