Just been emailed by the EFL telling me my subscription to iFollow is about to renew.

iFollow Sky Blues is the official streaming service of Coventry City, with the money generated from pass sales going directly to support your club.

We look forward to welcoming you to iFollow Sky Blues for the 2026/27 Season where you’ll be able to continue receiving access to exclusive Club videos, live match-day content and much more.”

Wtaf?

Do EFL Cup games not come under iFollow? So you would technically be given a service

I would email about cancelling your subscription pronto

The email stated that EPL games would not be available to international fans so I’ve emailed them to cancel.

Why I gotta email them though, strange.
No live video games for international is a shame (that's what I needed), audio by itself isn't for me.
Bonus though, first time I hadn't autorenewed accidentally and only realize after the fact. So that's good money kept in my pocket.

These dumbasses, I get an automatic reply, asking me for my name and email.
Idiots, you were the ones who sent the autorenewal notice. Just link it up on the back end and leave me alone.

Surely it will be completely different in the premier League?
What, the audio-only?
So I can sit there with my ear to the radio while they take 10 minutes to decide a VAR ruling?

I get all PL football and Champions League for €20 per month so will renew for CWR commentary, which is something I never thought I’d say.

They are not dumbasses, they know very well what they are doing - making it as awkward as possible to cancel your auto renewal! I did reach a human after the step you mentioned though.

It really was very quick and straightforward to cancel. It took less than a minute to type out the details they wanted and then they replied within 15 mins to say the renewal had been cancelled. I wish everyone’s else’s customer experience was that simple and good. Some people just like to moan I guess…

That's not "very quick and straightforward", it's a bloody silly way of cancelling a service, and clearly designed to make it a pain. Should only need a "Cancel" button and a "Confirm" button.

They’ve got back to me. They are offering the audio commentary (CWR feed) next season.
No video wherever you’re based as they don’t have the rights.

Yes, and yes.

My inbox is bloated daily with hundreds of random stuff from everywhere, even spam folders and "offers" folder don't catch all the bullshit.
If I hadn't had happened to notice the original email (which only thanks to this thread I dug and found it, much love to @JimmyHillsbeard ) I never would have seen it. Or, as @Esoterica points out "they know very well what they are doing", because I was under an initial impression my one email should suffice. Luckily still on the device when the autoreply came back, so had to do a second email.

Yes, some may consider that moaning... but don't put a tired man thru hoops.

I cancelled on line. Found it easy (and I’m a technical moron).
I received the discounted audio option (£45 if I remember correctly) I have emailed asking if the full games will be shown later in the day as previously.
What are my overseas options? Has anyone checked yet?
If I subscribe to Sky or DAZN will I get all of our games or is it a “match of the day” type thing?
What

It depends on your local providers and which of them show PL games. I get all PL games via Now TV already for something like €20 a month.

As much as I hate dealing with “all things computer” I have to defend their customer service. A couple of times last season my log in wouldn’t work ((I travel a lot) and I had to buy a day pass. Both times it just took a simple email to get an instant refund.

Had my email from them. I can continue with them but vastly reduced to £45 for the season for audio only and renewed 1/7/26.

Fair respect to all who do renew, each individual's circumstances and latitudes are different. Apologies if my 'light tantrums" riled any one.

I've calmed down tremendously, thanks to Antiques Roadshow UK syndication episodes from 20 years ago, currently watching expert bloke politely shame an attendee for improper restoration of a lovely Scottish furniture table. There's a 150 year old watcher-on in the background with a smart tie and blazer.
