... that there are fans with some sort of affection towards Bryan Richardson and co.

Have they such a short memory? Everything that is wrong with the club now stems from them and has been exacerbated by SISU. Have a read through the history books people. These were dark times, hidden by some glorious football by players we couldn't afford and dreams we could never fulfill. Long term damage was being caused and they tried to fix it with gaffer tape.

It would take a financial genius to break us out of this awful catch 22 we are in and if that genius comes along and achieves it... they deserve a Nobel Prize.

That seems very unfair to me. I met the bloke once and yes, I didn't like him BUT was he not just trying to live the dream like all of us? How many of us were complaining when we signed players like Hadji, Chippo and Keane? Had we been able to have attained Champions League status in those times would things not have been different?

I completely agree with u richardson and co did ruin the club while the football was some of the best football i can remember the city playin growing up and when ranson came in i was happy i thought we were going to have a good future but it never happened. People i go up games with want multi billionaire owners in to buy the players and sort the debts out to move forward with city but to be honest at the moment id just be happy with someone to come in with a bit of money to get the club back to a settled financial status then possibly look for some more investors to join the consortium and get the players without screwin the club up again
Do u not agree?

Richardson and Robinson were equally as bad as SISU have been. The demonstration to get them out was bigger than any to remove this lot. I remember having the banners and print outs with RR in the style of the rolls royce badge and the whole west end holding them up.

I remember that too Jazzcat. Tony, whilst I see where you're coming from and acknowledge that had we even won a handful of away games on the "Entertainers" season we may have gotten that top 6 holy grail, the fact that everything was do or die and with no viable contingency plan is simply unforgivable and has led us to where we sit now.
