I agree with Mr Sillet (4 Viewers)

Both sides are about as culpable as each other with their attitude and responses while ignoring the supporters.
These two sides MUST find a way to fix this and do the obvious by agreeing one way or another to play in Coventry, preferably at the Ricoh Arena.

I'm amazed that anyone really thinks that...have ACL moved us to Northampton? No. They made as many concessions as they could. This is SISU's doing. They didn't have to take the course that they have, and it doesn't solve any of our problems. It kills the club.

Tbf, Paxman always was a bit pro Sisu.
This "shared" responsibility is a bit of a climb down

I respect John Sillet unconditionally, but I am afraid he is wrong on this one. ACL have bent over backwards to accommodate our so called owners. But they have thrown any offer back into ACL's and the fans faces. They are the ones who are moving us out of Coventry. They are the ones who are willing to pay what ever rent they are paying to play in a piss poor ground compared to the Ricoh and have allianated 98% of the fans. The other 2% still think the sun shines out of their backsides and nothing they do will change this.

No one other than SHITSU are responsible for the uter mess we find our club in, In my view

I can't say i agree that it is all sisu,
The rent at the Ricoh is too much and something had to give.
But for the life of me, I can't understand why both ACL and sisu can't agree a deal for the club to play at the Ricoh while a new ground is built in Coventry.
They could have done that at least for the fans.

They did reach an agreement (both sides agree this) but then Joy over ruled them, not ACL's fault.

I see so some of you believe that whatever ACL offered was good for the football club and should have been accepted?

Do you need reminding of the final offer which was given to the club in January? More to the point, what do you want ACL to do now? They have never barred the club from the ground and with the legal entity we still hold to be the club in administration, they have to do anything through Appleton as he is now the one in charge. They can't make any conditions about an offer for the club once it leaves administration because they have no idea who the owners will be.

Just what do you want them to do?

..let me expand a little: ACL's offer was not for any income streams from the stadium, it did include a huge climb down on previous rent but still some £400k plus match day cost on top! It did not include any ownership of the Ricoh, neither freehold or leasehold. It was really a carry on proposal that still did not address the fundamental problem the football club has, which is income from the place they trade in? (other than match day tickets) ACL offered some kind of concession on what Compass have the rights to which SISU requested the bookwork on and ACL failed to produce.
OK I'm not a SISU fan but ACL have as much been responsible for distressing this football club almost as SISU are.

Bent over backwards after robbing the club for a decade. Bit like a car salesman selling you a wreck for £50 grand and then offering a free service when you complain.

OK I'm not a SISU fan but ACL have as much been responsible for distressing this football club almost as SISU are.

Every club up and down the land pays matchday costs-these are completely normal and would be expected regardless of the situation. ACL offered the footballing revenue to be cross invoiced to us for FFP purposes and along with all the other huge concessions was the absolute maximum they could offer shy of just handing over the shareholdings. The council's taking of the Yorkshire Bank loan and subsequent lower interest rates being charged to ACL actually enabled them to offer more generous terms to the club but even now you hold them equally accountable as SISU who intend to move this club out of Coventry.

You should be ashamed of yourself.

It wouldn't take you a decade to complain in most cases.

Well BSB answer that yourself! What do you want them to do? Nothing? Can they at least be proactive? Are you suggesting there is nothing they can do? Do they even want to try? Should they try? You see BSB you should never just accept something without first try, try again. It's never over till the fat lady sings. I'm afraid ACL are as arrogant as SISU and have not realised yet that doing nothing will only make it worse for them. It does not matter what we think of SISU, that's not the point. A deal to keep the football club at the stadium must be found.

Equally from SISU's side - just who's club do they think they are messing with? They should not be treating fans in such a despicable way. They too should be doing something to find a solution to remain at the Ricoh.

Now here's the problem we can't comment on and our various arguments simply end up emotional responses.: We don't know the full extent of the detailed talks previously, what was possible, what was not. What either side therefore may yet still find a way to compromise on?
It's to this end BOTH sides as Mr Sillett says should be out there finding a solution to the mess they have put our football club into. It's common sense nothing more.

Do the council even want to sell the stadium? If not why not?

You don't need to talk to me about not accepting failure-just follow the link in my sig. The realities of the situation are such that I genuinely don't know what more ACL can offer beyond free use of the stadium whilst the club is in administration-at the very least surely the administrator should accept this on the premise that it provides at least short term stability and reassurance to the club's main customers (its fans)?

Can ACL make offers to a business coming out of administration when the prospective owners are still not certain and risk being accused of interfering with the administration process? I feel that there honestly is very little more that can be done from their end until the administration is finished.
