On the flip side, Asda on Hessle Road is great. £6 on JustPark, ~20 minute walk from the ground and close to the A63. IIRC it was fine on the way out last time, only traffic was on the A63 because it was down to 1 lane for a bit. Plus the Asda is open until midnight if you want to grab a snack/use the toilet etc.

Yep. That’s a good option. St Stephen's shopping centre car park is only a couple of quid to park in the evening - another good option, about 20mins walk away.
The major roadworks on the A63 that
have taken 6 (6!) years finally end next week, so should make getting in and out easier.
