No one is taking delight in his injury, stop being silly. Competition for team is good and that means having everyone fit.

You're constantly cucking for him and people like you are part of the reason there's so much much expectation, after overrating him so much and putting stupid price tags on him.

He's unfortunatley become more of a liability and no longer walks into the team on ability anyway. You're just going to have to deal with that.
I've put no price tag on him and your history tells us what you think of him. Some of the criticism is beyond. If it was simply 'oh ffs not again' I get it, but clearly some have a different agenda and as I said even those shouldn't be stupid enough not to want him fit to sell him.

Unfortunately, at this point, Sheaf will do well to continue playing professionally in the long term - it would be a massive shame for him and us if his body keeps giving out.

It amazes me how fragile he is, physically he looks in good shape.

I wonder if he is overcautious about slight twinges.

Someone check his teeth too, I remember Hansi Flick makes all his players get regular check ups as theirs a link between bad dental health and injuries.

He was just poor. Improved a bit in the second half but you do look at some of the money we’ve seemed to have spent on these players and wonder how and why

Agree on today’s performance but then you remember the run he had when Lampard came in and he was quality. Wish he’d be more direct and drive with the ball as he’s a handful on his day

Yes, my history indeed does, which is why you're having a massive cope because there's been a few people like me who have questioned how good he really is for hs, and think we are much better without him for a variety of reasons including injury record.

No one is taking delight in the fact one of our players got injured though, so get a grip. I for one wouldn't want to be him tonight because it must be difficult to experience so many setbacks, and I feel genuinely very sorry for him.

Bta 7 lmao he was shocking

He’s shocking in front of goal but he does stuff none of our other strikers do that make the game difficult for their defence. He wins the ball, chases balls over the top, and harries defenders. I see why he’s starting over Simms.

He did nothing. He's lucky to get a 6 let alone a 7.

I will say it surprises me that he takes the captain's armband still. He's never looked like a vocal figure or natural leader in the group, more of a 'lead by example' type but his example has been poor for some time now.

We were desperately lumping balls into the box to Asante and then Wright, neither of whom are any good in the air. It really surprised me to see Wright moved to the centre when Asante came off, Simms is your best bet for a headed goal out of the 3 of them.

BTA is just terrible. Wright can attack the ball in the air.

He can, but he's always looked at his best out on the left. Though if the game plan is to just spam crosses into the box, that doesn't suit Wright out there either.

Either way BTA is dreadful. What possessed the club to sign him I’ve no idea

The fact he's in ahead of Simms, and Simms didn't come on in the play offs despite,Wright being as much use as an empty crisp packet tells you all you need to know about his future at the club.

Which is fair enough if someone wants him instead. If nobody does, we’re left with a problem.

The whole strike force needs changing if we're persisting with this system.
Wright was awful when he came on and is clearly a player who needs to be fully fit (which he's not) to be affective
The home game v Sunderland last season was clearly a massive anomaly which lead us all up the garden path

Nobody really stood out, but thought Dasilva and Grimes were good.

Don't think Thomas Asante was as bad as some are saying. Worked hard and looked sharp in the early stages, but seemed to be yet another typical strikers performance for us where the game goes on around them and there's few clear chances.

Thought their keeper looked pretty good
Their keeper didn’t have anything to do just a couple of run of the mill saves and then the clown pretended to be injured near the end after Milan jumped over him to stop our flow , cheating goalkeepers stopping the game, I bet he wouldn’t of gone down injured if we were winning, it’s a bad part of the game that the FA need to crack down on.
