If that is true then the Arena can return to Football one day even if SISU talk themselves out of the venue.

We didn't own that in the end ether remember sold it to developers for 3 million. would have had to spend millions on it to make it safe as the westend was deemed unsafe

Why do people respond to Grendel's jousting in this way? He does this time and time again. 'Prove to me an Arena income stream'; an then proceeds to pull apart anything placed before him for his consideration.

Unless you've all missed out; ACL is seemingly thriving. It's non-football income streams are increasing year on year.

You don't have to throw various hypothesis for Grendel's 'expert' appraisal. These incomes are being generated right now.

Let me turn it on its head: Grendel, what's wrong with ACL's signed accounts as a going concern, or forward projections that gives you an opinion that it's anything other than a very viable business?

I keep on asking this question; and keep on being met by a wall of silence by those who call for SISU ownership. I can't see how anyone can call for a the sale without being able to understand and comment upon this option.

Stadiums are expensive. It's where a club - a business - houses it's customers. I for one yearn for a time when football clubs are run as 'normal businesses' with expenditure matched to income. Debt levels exceeding annual turnover are simply preposterous.

It's time players were paid a wage that clubs can afford; more akin to the very successful German model. That leaves more than sufficient to properly fund the balance of the club's infastructure.

It's the same cost control that prevails in every board room in every successful business - large or small - in the UK. And that's what SISU have failed to evidence in their time in Coventry - cost control and business viability. That's a significantly more pertinent player in our current malaise than any rent issue
