Probably because it's a Tuesday.

Rumours are a match package being announced today. 5 games £125.

Agreed. £25 a ticket is hardly a steal, even if the games are mostly CatA.

100 for 5 games would have been a superb deal and would have tempted a lot of people.

They run the club in an odd way - they don’t seem to actually have season tickets

If we did somehow get promoted the meltdown on pricing would be fascinating

Obviously want as many as possible there on Saturday but sometimes when we have bigger crowds the atmosphere isn’t as good. And crucially if we go behind or don‘t start well, you can hear the murmurings of discontent or impatience. Whereas regular attenders tend to keep singing and encouraging the team in those moments because we know there is a very good chance they’ll turn it around

I'm expecting there will be a meltdown anyway given the incoming increase.

I personally think the only marketing that needs doing is to say;

“
Won 4 out of the last 5
Unbeaten in 6
3 points away from the Play Offs
“

Now is the time for us fans to get behind them, get up there in numbers and really be a 12th, 13th, 14th…man/woman/child/non-binary-vegan sausage roll or however you choose to identify yourself!

The notion of reducing prices when demand should naturally be higher is just a bizarre notion to me and I suspect to the Kings

It wouldn't. They wouldn't increase it by much, if anything. Ticket money doesn't mean much in the top flight.

Not by much. It's worth comparing prices between Championship and Premier League.

The issue a lot of fans at this level have is that the value for money isn't there compared to the top flight. You can get a ST at West Ham, Man City or Forest for less than our season ticket this season. Although there are fewer fixtures, you're watching Premier League football for a season for less than £400.

The majority will be roughly the same price but we'd add high bands and milk supporters that way. Hospitality prices would go through the roof, as would tickets in the main stand.

The match day revenue at Leicester is around 10% of income. There's no need to fleece fans in the Premier League and it's why there will never be a cap in the Championship for away tickets.

Premier League clubs can afford a £30 away ticket cap, Championship clubs cannot.

Disappointing really as it's had negative press on social media.

I guess the issue is, how many more would they actually sell at £100. Is it worth devaluing a match day ticket?

Behind the goal would be around what is paid now but centre blocks would be £650

As we are heading for a potential promotion push surely demand increases anyway - you’d discount if it’s dead rubber games surely?

Our fanbase is fucking shocking, simple as that.
Play off chasing team, we should be selling tickets like hot cakes at 25 quid a pop.
I appreciate there are people for whom money is tight, but equally they'll be plenty sat in some boozer with an illegal stream on tanning pints and chisel.

Of course they're quite entitled to do that, but let's not pretend our support is anything other than below average at best.

Got one for myself, struggle to get to games these days but at that price it's a steal. What more do people want? New owner, play off push, no player sales in January

If they made it £20 a game there would still be people moaning its too much

The deal doesn't make a huge amount of sense. It only really appeals to those who are willing and able to commit to 5 consecutive home games, and people this commited typically have a ST or half ST already. For decent uptake it should have been £100. They will still sell a handful I imagine.

Marketing has been nonexistent in recent years, at least they are trying.
17% off the third kit and now this, also the event this evening at Dhillons.
It's a step in the right direction.

The issue is, they fucked up with the Cat A pricing. Gate receipts for Cat A games, the games that should see the biggest gates despite the higher price (did last season), are well down on last season I understand, I mean significantly down. You've seen a big fall in Cat A attendances, some of which is hidden by the fact we have 1500+ more ST holders, so it is even worse than it looks.

Conversely, Cat B gates are up as are revenues.

When they broke through the £30 barrier to effectively become the most expensive ground in the league for those games, they made a big error, they don't even offer a family discount. The Stoke City crowd will be terrible I fear.

Agree - I've got to drive my son up to Leeds Uni for an open day, so there's one less (ST holder, so maybe I'm still there? )

Was thinking earlier this week. The club don't seem to do anything to reach out to lapsed fans.

I haven't been all season (and most of last season) and had a season ticket last year (which I used twice) Would be a good idea to target them with targetted marketing offers. Must be a fair few to go after.

frankly as a lapsed fan if you want to see a play off challenge what marketing do you want? It’s not awareness marketing is it?
