Who was it turned that ball from Dabo onto O'Hare for Goddens second chance?

Ah good work and wrapped his foot round it well to move it on I thought.
Surprised it was him as it was out on the right.

Amazing goal from Godden! A bit Houchenesque, but on the floor!

Look at the space he’s got, really poor marking a bit like us last season

It was vik. Poor ball by O'Hare to Godden though, it made him slow down and take an awkward first touch, it made him shoot further out than he would have liked as it let the defender get back. He needed it in front of him to run on to take it one touch then finish or to be able to hit it first time. O'Hare had acres of space to work with.

I see what you're saying Stu but find that a bit harsh.

Look how much room he had. Godden had to stop then take 2 touches before shooting.

A better pass and the full back isn't getting any where near him. But because he had to stop then take 2 touches both defenders are right on him. The pass is the difference between a good chance and must score chance.

Yeah it set him back. At the time I thought it was the right ball, nice and early but it was direct to him rather than in front

Watch his little step to the left and then to the right completely loses his marker and is inside

I’d say good ball rather than poor or excellent. Still got good shot away

If you freeze it at 17 secs, Godden is well onside and the ball is already on it's way, perfect timing from him and a wonderful finish.

Gooden’s scored quite a few headed goals, Rotherham at home in League 1 and Oxford away come to mind

What was the game where he headed it down nicely to score from a tight angle? That was a very nice goal.

Thought I was going mad for a minute, went through the highlights just to make sure…then remembered the 23s game he scored one!

QpR at home last season too. Brilliant movement for that goal too, from a Giles cross i think

It was yes. He got another 2 assists at the weekend, going to make a career out of being an excellent crosser

Well he showed that ability here, but not sure he could do the defensive part of the game. Plenty of potential as an attacking wide player though

Godden scored a neat header at Tranmere away, in his hat-trick.
