Start with our strongest 11 and then make changes if necessary. Hate it if we hold back and then need to bring on subs to chase the game. If Rudi only has a half in him then make it the 1st half.

I’m also strangely confident. I am not usually!

Same here. This month is panning out to be so much better than last year.

Last April was a nightmare travel wise. We went all the way to Hull and got the draw, then all the way down to Plymouth and lost...then Luton...lost...

We're going up early tomorrow as we're stopping in the Premier Inn. Blackburn too will be ace.

I had this as a free hit in my predictions a while ago with our last loss of the season, but we’re two ahead of where I thought we would be so any points are a bonus and wouldn’t put it past us winning. They’re 8th in the form table and tenth in the home table so decent but not amazing. They’ll be feeling Wrexham breathing down their necks and want to secure playoffs though I’d imagine.

I’ll go 1-1. Same team that finished the last game but Lats in for Kitching. Wright to score.

Rudoni was amazing for 35 minutes against a tired team. Off the ball he looked leggy to me and was sweating like mad at the end. I think FL will keep him on his leash like last time. We don't know the extent of his injury but FL said he had hardly trained. Keep him in reserve and unleash him in short bursts.

That other players would have been crucified for

I agree though even though he had a decent game but prefer rudoni to start obviously
Think Eccles is a player that beats himself up without us piling in. Always gives his all and deserves our support. He's living the dream and I hope he can stay in the squad as long as possible if not always first choice.

Living the dream!

Seriously, it's great that you so clearly enjoy these away days. It's a long time since I had the appetite for all that travelling.

I do love it, always have, but nowadays mostly do all these away games for my lad who has lived and breathed CCFC since he was 3. He's 20 in a couple of weeks, so it will be a great birthday for him this year.

Nothing to suggest that's true though. It's like when people say esse only playing for himself.

Just made up stories.

We don't know these people. Can't say ones good and ones bad without some sort of reason. No one deserves a pile on. Especially this season!

Eccles had a good game the other day. He just did a bad job converting his chances.
For whatever reason he was slightly off his game for me, after two weeks off as well, quite uncharacteristic getting his shots off and standing off for their goal, what I mean is, that would normally be meat and drink to him, Oh well.🤔

Can see this being a very tight and nervous affair, they won't want to lose with the play off situation being wide open, so I cant see many goals in it.
Hopefully we can break them down eventually, I think Thomas is overdue a goal from a set piece, so im going for a sky blues win by 1 goal to nill.

Central defensively I tend to think Lati back in myself if he's fit, although apart from the goal I thought Kitching had a good game going forward unless it's merging into the previous game.

Kitching is much better on the ball, but for me the main job of centre backs is to stop the ball going in our net and he’s poor at that.

MVE - Thomas - Lati - JDS
Grimes - Onyeka
Sakamoto - Eccles - EMC
Wright

Bring Rudi on for Eccles early in the second half to make an impact like he did against Derby. Judging by Lampards comments I think he’s not fit for the full 90 but coming off as an impact player could be huge.

Genuinely think we win 3-0 and wrap up promotion against Sheff Wed after other teams drop points

Currently but averaging it out over season he's standard, but I would consider Lati,or even Woolf just to keep it totally fresh, that's what a squad is for.

Personally I might play KKH instead of Dasilva at LB, he looked tired to me but I can’t see Frank doing it.

Wouldn't mind if Lati starts.

Thought his all round game was fine, but definitely got the key moments wrong.

The Cayman Islands.
Never thought I’d be saying this a year ago, but I would be bringing Lati straight back in.

Lati must have a slight injury why wasn't he on the bench on Friday night.

Mason Clark was and they both came back on the same flight.

yeah, you might have something there.

plenty to play for, for any players who make it onto the pitch.
there will be some big decisions to make in just a few short weeks. time his running out to stake a claim for a golden ticket to the premier league.

Sweating isn’t really an indicator of anything tbh. But I agree in the sense that he was up against already tiring players etc. He looked fine for 35 mins I thought!

I'm not sure I'd start JDS for this one he looked shattered - KKH or Bidwell to start for me with JDS & Rudi on the bench again. I think Hadji will come in for Ellis Simms and Torp may get a start - exciting that we have such depth nowadays.
