On top of the Sheaf being out the text I had reckons Ayari is playing which surprised me. Thomas not in the side either.

Well let's hope you win this particular battle of the ITKs. FP has been fairly spot on recently.

Hull are doing okay. It would be foolish to underestimate them.

I know, I'm just being silly. Although people are getting rather upset about a rumoured injury. I think we'll win tonight...

Everyone was raving about Kelly's performances last year, in the space of 3 months and a few substitute appearances everyone now seems to have written him off. If we have a midfield of Eccles, Kelly, Sakamoto with Godden and Hadge up top I think we;ll be fine. Happy with Bidwell on the left and MVE on the right. Decent staring lineup I reckon

I wasn't feeling that confident to begin with, no Sheaf would compound that. 2-0 Hull.

People are forgetting how brilliant Kelly was in the run-in last season. He’s far more effective starting games than coming on as a sub

Kelly did a really good job at a crucial time last year

He’s still more than good enough as a stand-in, however there is still obviously a Gus-sized hole there next to him

Would think Ayari would benefit from playing alongside him for a period, assuming injury chat etc is actually true

I have a feeling this Ayari is going to be a good player. Needs game time but Kelly isn’t getting any younger and can only affect a game for so many minutes.

Looking at the Hull forum, they seem very confident that they're going to stuff us tonight.

And now with these dropouts for us, I'm beginning to see why.

Kelly did "ok"... brilliant is a big exaggeration. Also worth noting that his "ok" was with the best midfielder in the championship playing with him.
Kelly starting a game does not show progress from last season. Quite the opposite in fact

My thread on our midfield was based on the worry that at some point it would be likely that a big part of our midfield would be Kelly and Eccles....

Tom, just a quick question (and in jest).... why have you written Wright's name with a supposed abbreviation that is actually longer than his real name ? It's quicker to type "Haji" than "Hadge"

He was brilliant in the run in, you’re wrong. He come into the team at a crucial point in the season where every game was massive. You’re doing him a complete disservice. Hamer even spoke about the influence of Kelly next to him. Some of you know nothing about football, it’s embarrassing

Chill out everyone. MR is a magic man. Next season we will improve, and injuries happen to all teams. If Sheaf is out, someone else will step up to the plate. FWIW, I thought we'd lose tonight, then beat Cardiff. Still feel the same, regardless of who's in or out. Will be cheering us on regardless. Come on you mighty Sky Blues!

Interesting that - Never preached or gone on about it really, but I've worked for a football club on the coaching side of things and have also spent a considerable amount of time working in and around football and with some extremely high profile ex footballers and managers.
My opinions and inputs were trusted by them.
I did not say he was rubbish, he does/did a job. He's not who you want as a regular starter in a top end Championship club.
He's ok....not brilliant.

Strange that Sakamoto isn't starting.

Worried about Kelly.
