Sitting back and trying to hold on for the win very rarely ends well, unless you have someone up top who can hold the ball up when playing on the counter. Wright and Simms very poor at the moment.

Good to see that Simms, who’s hardly played for us, is being singled out.

Really need O'Hare back, someone to drive into the final third. Box mid with him and Ayari at the top would be interesting

Grendel has been waiting in the wings this season to be able to shout from the rooftops that Palmer was bad

He was bad today.

What’s the point in Sakamoto even being here if he can’t get on ahead of a jet-lagged Palmer?

Wright and Simms need to buck the fuck up, the pair of them look like deer in the headlights. This is always my worry with big money signings. Every signing is a gamble.

It will mean Allen probably being rushed back ahead of time. Despite people's aversion to free agents we need the numbers so we aren't throwing points away due to fatigue in the middle.

Finally some calm words. Fireworks going off on here tonight Nah I get it, everyone's passionate on here at the end of the day and it's great, we all want the same thing, but there's definitely some perspective needed. It's a marathon, not a sprint, surely we've learned that by now, it will all come together I'm certain of it

We gave the ball away far too much trying to force it.
Really pissed off, we really should have won this.

I don’t rate Wright or Simms. Both absolutely lightweights.

Both do fuck all when a starting, and you aren’t screaming for either to come on to change the game either. Don’t give a fuck if it’s still “early”

May well bottle this in the morning.

Forwards became isolated when Ayari went off. He was linking play effectively. Replacing him with Palmer meant you had to also replace Godden with another midfielder to shore things up.

Solid point. Hull very awkward to play against and think they’ll be up there. Team still gelling… looked good in parts … we go again !

Another draw, it's really frustrating, lost my stream for the last 15, what concerns me is we seem to drop off at 70 mins as a team, Wright needs to get more physical

I don’t want to panic but I literally don’t know how we get our strikers going in sticky games like tonight, it’s crucial we put 1-0 leads to bed but we never seem to create clear opportunities in tight games.

I agree he is who he is and won't change. So far this season he's offered a bit of quality in the final third (not today you tit).

He is no doubt a luxury player and a maverick. I think alongside the right players and in the right system he is a real asset though, even if he thinks football matches are only 60 minutes long.

Yeah god knows how Godden didn't score with the service he gave him, or how the hull keeper saved his numerous amazing shots, or how he won so many important headers, or how he drove at them beating his man every time and managed to stay on his feet... Oh wait none of that happened.
