Has Spike Milligan just rang up CWR as Eccles (not Josh)?

I'm going to scare myself, but actually thought Wilson did alright. Even came for a cross once!

It was nice to have some options off the bench that weren't Waghorn or Kane.

Really impressed with McNally. They weren't the best but youcan only deal with what's in front of you.

Three points in the bag and a clean sheet, should keep the doomers & gloomers at bay for a week.

Credit where it’s due he’s improved immensely. His distribution is light years ahead of where it was. Clearly been working on it.

Keep misreading McNally as McNulty, stop with the mind games.

Winning defensive headers, what’s been missing since November.

Kane is much better than Norton-Cuffy, but Waghorn I will give you.

I don't think he is. Largely we've only seen Kane come off the bench against tired opposition. BNC did fine.

‘Martyn Waghorn, he signed cos you’re shit’

A rare burn on both the opposition and a current player

Norton-Cuffy looks very raw, not having that Kane is better though.

Given that Kane could only get a gig at a mid level League One team I, and the rest of the championship, would have to disagree.

Because he can't last a game, can't press, and isn't at all who you would pick to defend a lead.

Whereas Allen’s contribution was what?

He looks like he's fitting in, think it will be a few more games until we see the best of him but he hasn't looked out of place.

He looks completely out his depth. He would have been better having a season in League One. Eccles looked lightyears ahead of him when he came on.

To press, slow down their attacks, and yes he did pass the ball simply, harried and offered an outlet time and time again without hiding.

Great shout, solid win and two assists from Vik on his farewell performance.
Class from the new lad we loaned from Vincent Kompany's Burnley.

You missed out bottled multiple 50/50’s gave the ball away constantly and was the best player on the pitch for stopping our attacking moves.

He and Panzo both had poor games to be honest.

Decent performance and much needed win. Big difference from Norwich game I thought was sheaf and hamer dominated midfield today. Also having viable option off the bench is great. Mc Nally looked very good and clean sheet will be great for confidence at the back, with mc fadz back soon too!

I happen to thonk that's bullshit. Midfield was basically carried by Hamer. Palmer went missing, first half Sheaf couldn't find his man.

But it's easy to blame Allen because he's this forum's whipping boy. I mean ffs he doesn't even get credit when he scores, he doesn't get credit when he does make a decent pass, and we even have people calling into question his mental faculties.

It's all a little bit sad really.
