Massive lift today. Don't get me wrong, Huddersfield are absolutely terrible and we shouldn't make light of that, but we really needed this. Want to see more of Godden in the coming weeks.

Hamer MoM for me today. McNally was hugely steadying for the defense, Gyokeres got a couple of assists but without Hamer's skill in that situation I think we'd still be trying to score the first now.

Mcnally looks a good signing, big upgrade on Rose based on that evidence.

That will do, 3 points in the bag, Godden with some minutes in his legs. I'm glad we didn't sign Panzo on a perm for the money that was being suggested during the initial interest. Also the pitch still looks crap

Hamer's goal was the sort you'd expect from Palmer as a no 10. Though credit to the latter for getting the second. We still need much much more from him especially off the ball.

Could have been 3 or 4, Huddersfield were very poor. McNally strong on debut, Cuffey looks like he can’t take a throw in. Allen very poor throughout, Panzo also shaky, the rest looked decent or better.
