Never been before so looking forward to ticking off another ground. Just hope parking won't be a mare like it was for the Sheffield game. Anyone who was daft enough to park in the Moor multi storey car park will know what I'm talking about!

Just under 1000 sold. That’s a good start considering 12:30 on sky and we’ve just been up to Sheffield.

Sadly a visit to the home end looks likely. Huddersfield missing a trick for larger crowds. Surely won't be just Coventry that sell the whole block.

1000 is pants. All so desperate to go to Bournemouth but we've not played Huddersfield for many years so must be a new ground for lots. Most moaning they couldn't get a ticket were probably never going anyhow and just like to complain.

It's 1000 in the first 6 hours of sale. Is it not enough that we sell out now? We have to do it in 30 minutes otherwise it's shit?

A lot of people fancied a weekend away for Bournemouth. Huddersfield is 12.30 and live on TV 2 weeks before Xmas, so is less appealing to many, that's just the reality. If we sell out, which we will, I think it will be an outstanding effort all things considered.

Here's village Rob moaning at people from Coventry for not selling more than 1000 first day because his Tory elite supporters club took all the Bournemouth tickets.

There was a whole range of excuses as to why they couldn't get tickets mainly around sold out immediately but were at work etc so I assume they'd have all been on last night. Reminded that we have thousands of phase 1s. Not sure which part isn't appealing in watching your team play away particularly at a new ground, but guess all those who will regularly attend despite being less appealing and at 12.30 on the tele, should've missed out for those who fancied a nice day trip to the seaside.

Poor effort.
Don't live in a village and born in Cov. Shouldn't need to justify it , as this isn't a post-code or county lines drugs war and the main thing is all City fans, but if your own heritage is from the city then your family may have visited mum's hairdressing shop in the 70's or almost certainly bought fruit or veg from dad's, uncle's, grandad's or great grandad's stall on the indoor market. Is that Cov enough for you?

Would be interesting to see actually how many season ticket holders reside in Cov. I'd guess we have as many outside the City as inside with Warwick, Leam, Bedworth, Nuneaton, Kenilworth, Southam, Rugby and many much further away.

In summary - not directly to your post:
I was frustrated with the Bournemouth ticket situation but (especially at a time like this), we’re all Coventry City fans, we all have a connection and love for the city, that’s all that matters.

I would rather visit the towns of Warwickshire and it be full of Coventry City fans than Villa, Man Utd etc.

If the ticket issue is such a frustrating point for people, email the club like I have and move on. We’re building a team and fan base to be proud of, let’s not drag every thread into mudslinging about Warwickshire, Tories and who is more Cov.

Let’s show our appreciation to the great man Sillett at WBA and Huddersfield (plenty of tickets available for that one).

For someone not in the supporters club you mention it a lot. What perks do you get? Or is the usual cover up when anybody is asked any questions regards away tickets

There were definitely a disproportionate amount of gilets and jeans and sheux on show. Let's hope for better next week.
