How much damage can we do to SISU... (14 Viewers)

Am I missing something here?

If the Hoffman bid isn't credible, and that of course is an 'if' based on what has been revealed today, then surely we need a viable alternative before all this trying to get Sisu out don't we? While we don't have an alternative aren't we a bit daft trying to force Sisu out? Thought all this momentum the last couple of weeks or so was because we felt there was an alternative!

Exactly. Like it or not, SISU remain our only lifeline

Agree it is against fan priciples, but SISU need to realise that if they are to continue with their charge they need to get the fan base onside.

"SISU need to realise that if they are to continue with their charge they need to get the fan base onside."

But the fans only want SISU to spend money that isn't available

No need to worry - Ken said he was talking to "20 or 30 other potential investors".

If the failiure of the Hoff bid was all Hoff's fault, then surely one of these other many options will come good................

Depends on whether Ken won the Euromillions last night or not.

Think the other income stream revenues are the Daybreak weekly quiz question, winning Pointless and David Dickinson's Real Deal daily 2 grand competition.

Agreed, but too many owners are taking the piss out of ordinary fans. All I'm saying is that by protesting through a "no show" is a shot in the right direction. To stand out smoething different needs to be done and a "no show" has not been done before.

A no show will do nothing.
They will be getting money from the tv and all the money already paid by season tickets and purchased matchday tickets

It won't bother them at all, plus they won't even have the balls to come the game so will watch it on tv and let's be honest, on the tv the stadium looks empty anyway

I've got an audition to be on The Chase next Saturday, don't know what the money is like on that though, as only seen it once.

Should be able to trump Hoffman's bid,and seeing as Ginetta is in my consortium the bid should be approved for the opposite reason to Hoffman's.

He has absolutely no football knowledge whatsover.

To be fair, you can't be that unhappy with the signings we've made over the summer, we haven't really had any signings over the summer to get unhappy about.

At least they bothered to sign goalkeepers. One has to be happy that Brody and Delieu understood the importance of a soccer team having a 'keeper

Sorry, but I think you missed the point. A "no show" will not look good. And the media will ask questions.

"And the media will ask questions."

They already have - and Hoffman was found out.

The media might look at the empty stadium and conclude that SISU are doing the right thing. Cutting costs to meet income.

You're right Tommy - Murphy being the franchise player we were promised ny our footballing geniuses. Roll on the black stuff being in tap at the Ricoh, well once we own it, well err um ok so that's never then. Roll on the local derby with nuneaton borough (never be town) and Leamington.

So were those who said Hitler shouldn't be trusted when we were told peace in our time. Didn't make the outcome any more palatable though even for the know it alls.

A protest will change NOTHING, you're wasting your time, if anything it will make them more stubborn. With Hoffman now pulling out there is no one left to come and save us. What would be your objectives for a protest now?

So it's fine for him to mock those who do attend week in week out???

Well, there aren't that many of us left to mock are there?

A team that was pulling in 30,000 fans a week to 32,000 stadium that had the fans failing to turn up might have some impact, but not when it would be likely to be only around the 10,000 mark for the televised game against Derby.

Besides, every televised game we have, it looks empty anyway because of the camera positions, and Coventry v Derby is hardly going to have people packing out pubs to watch it worldwide is it?
