How else can we stop SISU/Fisher ? (7 Viewers)

I is obvious that SISU and Fisher don't give a monkeys about the wishes of the supporters.. he is virtually sticking two fingers up to us and protests are like water off a ducks back to him and SISU - one man versus the over 15,000 of us who signed the petition, 7,000 who marched in protest, 8,000 at the Ricoh yesterday and only 800 plus at Sixfields. Bad publicity, media attention, politicians against him and NONE of these things seem to have any influence over him. NOPM he just shrugs off saying they have allowed for this in their budgets.
What else can we do to get rid of this cancer that is destroying/has destroyed OUR club? Everything we have done to date seems to have no effect whatsover, he carries blindly on with his ridiculous plans.
I am at a loss to know what to do. Any legal sensible ideas ?

Rarely can I recall a business so blatantly ignoring its primary customer with such flagrant dismissal of its core obligation.
SISU are sending a very clear message- they just don't care about the football club- reinforcing my view that they only have one interest- acquisition of the Ricoh and associated land.

I would like to think I am one of life's pacifist- happier to jaw, jaw, jaw as opposed to war,war, war- yet despite two remarkable protests by disciplined Coventarian's where a a very clear message was despatched, SISU continue to ignore us their customer-buoyed by the scandalous dereliction of duty of the custodians of our beautiful game the Football League.

I'm as exasperated as you and many are VOR- and have not too many offers of legal protest alternates to offer- maintain the boycott of Sixfield is our primary weapon I suspect, with many associated risks- CCFC extinction being the primary concern. Regrettably I fear a few might take to less legal measures- such as invasions of the playing field like at Crawley, as much as I would normally condone such actions from my pacifists seat- I'd be hard pressed to criticise those that do so faced with such an adversary.

I too am getting desperate... agree with what has been said on this thread; it is obvious now (even if it wasnt before) is that sisu are trying to outbluff ACL and will not play at the ricoh until they buckle .
Running at a loss ( for how long though) is not an immediate problem.

Unfortunately the proteste will need to be stepped up in order to get the publicity the cause deserves.

No need to do that. 500 fans every fortnight will pay for nothing . SISU have 3 options

a) Sell up and move on .
cant do that because of image (SISU means inner fortitude)
b) Come back to the Ricoh while they build
only an option if your planning to build (Dont think they are)
c) Stay at Northampton while building New Stadium


Option c is the SISU mantra but lets face it ,3 to 5 years losing money by the bucket full ,spending 20 million on a new stadium that will only be marketable with championship or premier clb playing at it and the doubt of getting planning for said stadium in the first place means that sisu are on a very sticky wicket .With all the bad taste in peoples mouths that will continue to linger after
and if the stadium is built , many fans like myself will refuse to go . a poor team through lack of investment--- No other income of value because theres a far better venue down the road ----- a team tainted by recent history----- oh and a posible pheonix team on the horizon playing at the Ricoh . I've said it before on here and it's now down to only two options!!
Option 1. Large high profile pitch invasions or the like. Serious distruptions to the FL programme so the FL cannot ignore us any longer. I for one will now take a banning order for this. This is how serious the situation is!! I truly believe there won't be a CCFC anyway if we don't so not much lost really.
Anyway 300-400 Preston fans invaded the pitch last week without a single banning order being imposed!!

Option 2. Continue to play nice and say goodbye CCFC forever!!

I think the time has come to start planning for a new club. A proper successor, in sky blue with a decent name playing at the Ricoh.

Start planning it now, we can let Fisher know that he has a year to get the club back at the Ricoh, after that as far as we are concerned Coventry City are the new team.

As I've said before... If we are going to put pressure on SISU, we go after Seppala. Hedge Funds are secretive by nature and so it would seem are thier owners. She hates the limelight, so we point it in her direction. Perhaps a 1/4 or 1/2 page advert in a national newspaper asking simply 'WHO IS JOY SEPPALA?' Or a wanted poster, for theft of a football club, offering a reward for each photo we receive of her.
National newspaper ads cost a lot of money of course but I will pledge £50 for starters. Maybe the Trust could organise a fund?

2. Massive campaign on the FL to show that any SISU company must, by the FLs own rules, fail the 'fit and proper owner' test.
3. PH4 passes the fit and proper test with credible offer.

Some still believe they won't, that it's just a bluff with the aim of getting the Ricoh for nothing. Well that won't happen, and I would be amazed if they really think that could happen. They should know by now that neither the ccc or the Higgs will ever do a deal that will hand over the shares of ACL to sisu (or the club while sisu remain owners).

I read more and more posts saying that there were probably faults on both sides that lead to the current situation, but the reality is that we only want sisu to pay the damages. Various campaigns - no matter their name - calls for having the club at the Ricoh, but even if that happened the next step would be staying away from home matches to starve sisu out. If sisu/Fisher reads this forum, they know that. So going back to the Ricoh will not bring any redemption - they will never be accepted.

So their only chance to recoup some or all of their investment is actually to build a new stadium and in 7-10 years time sell the club and stadium as one viable business.
Having 2000 customers at the sixfields or having 6000 customers at the Ricoh in the interim period does not make any significant difference.

No MP or MEP can change the situation (but they can promote themself trying). The FL and FA can't change the situation (but they may be forced to review their rules and regulations to avoid similar situations). The council can't change the situation (even if they offered to rewind back to the HOT they agreed last year sisu would never go back). Higgs can't change the situation (although PWKH suggested new negotiations were possible if Fisher were replaced ... he didn't suggest he himself were replaced ... so that's not going to happen either).

Then surely the fans can change the situation?

I think if fans were to disrupt matches sufficiently often then this would mean Ccfc being unable t fulfill fixtures.

The club would have to be shut down.

This would mean that a Phoenix club could start without the wreckage of the old club and the current idiots ruining it.

This is a way forward.

Why does the Club need to own a ground?

I understand why it needs the income streams but that is a different argument completely.
